The investigation into the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) for alleged graft is still ongoing, says Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.
Speaking to reporters after closing the national-level International Anti-Corruption Day celebration on Monday (Dec 9), Azam stated that the probe encompasses various aspects of HRD Corp's operations.
When asked about reports suggesting that the MACC had cleared HRD Corp of any wrongdoing, based on statements made by an MACC officer to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Azam clarified that the reports merely reflected what was conveyed to the PAC by the officer.
