00:00In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Peace be upon you.
00:20I welcome all of you to the special program of KaheFaqih.org
00:26in which Syed Safaraz Ahmed Shah Sahib has come to address you.
00:31He will talk to you and answer your questions.
00:35Syed Safaraz Ahmed Shah Sahib is not in need of any introduction.
00:39You all know him. You have read his books.
00:42You have heard him. His TV program is also run by the name of Fakir.
00:47On the Q channel of ARY.
00:50You must have seen that as well.
00:52And even if you haven't, please share it with your friends.
00:55Share it with the website, kahefaqih.org and the program
01:00so that you get to know what kind of a spiritual entity you are going to be talking to.
01:08You will get guidance for your life and to make it work.
01:15Shah Sahib is a highly educated professional.
01:18Along with worldly knowledge, he is also interested in Islamic and spiritual knowledge.
01:25In this regard, as far as I have mentioned,
01:2910 books have been published.
01:31That is, Kahe Faqih, Fakih Rang, Fakih Nagri, etc.
01:35You can read and listen to all of these books
01:39on the website of kahefaqih.org.
01:45In this regard, we will tell you more about the work of kahefaqih.org.
01:52But let's start with Shah Sahib.
01:54Which one would you like to talk about?
01:57Yes, you first give him the mic.
01:59I wanted to know what is the real definition of catharsis?
02:04And what is its importance in the religious context?
02:07And how can practical life improve through it?
02:10Is it so significant or not?
02:14I did not suggest that you should do catharsis.
02:21I do not remember in which context I spoke.
02:24I am such a useless person.
02:26I keep speaking but I do not remember what I have said.
02:31The thing is that if I go to a faqih,
02:38there will be two or three surahs behind it.
02:42Basically, my worldly desires will take me to him.
02:46I will pray to him that my worldly desires are fulfilled.
02:50This is what happens in 99% cases.
02:55The 1% cases are those people who want to do their catharsis.
03:05They want to vent out all the pressure in their mind.
03:21So, they go to a faqih and just want to speak.
03:26They want to hear what I say.
03:29And when they speak,
03:31even if the faqih does not respond,
03:34they are still busy in their own thoughts.
03:37They are satisfied.
03:39That is catharsis.
03:42A faqih also does his catharsis.
03:45But he does it with his being.
03:49He wants solitude.
03:51When he is alone, he does his catharsis.
03:55That is why solitude is very dear to a faqih.
03:58He cannot tolerate anyone interfering.
04:03You must have heard that in the olden days,
04:07when a faqih would become famous,
04:09he would leave the area and go out.
04:12The basic reason for this is that
04:14the faqih needs time to think and reflect.
04:18He needs time for his worship.
04:21God will not see time.
04:25Time will come.
04:27Now, a faqih cannot return a faqih who has come from God.
04:31He is forced to return.
04:33The easiest way for a faqih to return is to leave the area.
04:42So, he goes somewhere and takes solitude.
04:45This is what happens behind that.
04:46That is catharsis.
04:48So, catharsis, in a way,
04:50is a very healthy activity for a human being.
04:55But instead of doing catharsis,
04:59I will sit with you and bore you for an hour.
05:04You keep thinking in your heart,
05:06Shah sahib, tell me, why did you come?
05:09I will tell you my story.
05:11I will give you an easy solution.
05:15Bolt the room from inside.
05:17Stand in front of the mirror
05:19and say whatever comes to your mind.
05:21This will be your catharsis.
05:25Peace be upon you, Shah sahib.
05:27Peace be upon you too.
05:29In Surah Nisa, verse 26, Allah says,
05:32All evil and all good are from me.
05:35When I am Allah's favorite,
05:38Allah wants more than 70 mothers,
05:40then why so many traps?
05:42Make evil difficult for me,
05:44and make good easy for me.
05:47That is right.
05:49You have a wet tongue.
05:51I also endorse this.
05:53Because I will be saved from a lot of evil.
05:57The point is that
05:59Allah has created everything in the form of jobs.
06:06Life is death.
06:09Health is illness.
06:12Wealth is poverty.
06:15Day is night.
06:18Happiness is sorrow.
06:21Keep on counting.
06:23You will find pairs.
06:25This is also mentioned in the Quran.
06:27I have created everything in pairs.
06:29Another thing is that
06:31we think that
06:33it is like talking about animals.
06:37Its creation is in all pairs.
06:40Even plants.
06:42Science has proved that
06:44plants are also in pairs.
06:46Plants are male and female.
06:49When pollen flies to another plant,
06:52it produces pollen.
06:54You must have read about this.
06:59Good and evil
07:03are also created in pairs.
07:08Now, tell me,
07:13We call the Day of Judgment as Yawm-e-Hisaab.
07:18You and I believe that
07:21our Lord will judge us.
07:25And where we,
07:28like a true Pakistani,
07:31will deny in front of God,
07:33I did not do it.
07:35Our hands will testify that we stole.
07:39This is our faith.
07:41If God does not make evil,
07:44and we do not have the power
07:46to choose between good and evil,
07:51then what is accountability?
07:53Accountability is only where
07:55we have the power.
07:57If there was no existence of evil,
08:00we would be on the path of goodness.
08:04So, why do we need accountability?
08:07This is one thing.
08:09The second thing is that
08:11we have been given everything.
08:13There is goodness, there is evil,
08:16there is goodness, there is evil.
08:18There is everything.
08:20God has given us the power
08:22to choose between three things.
08:25That is the freedom to think.
08:29We can think whatever we want.
08:31No angel will come and stop me
08:33from thinking that
08:35I can steal the watch
08:37or I can steal the watch.
08:39No angel will stop me.
08:41I have the freedom of will.
08:44After that, I have the freedom of action.
08:47When I am stealing,
08:49no angel will come and stop me
08:51by holding my hand and saying,
08:53do not steal.
08:55This is because God has put me
08:57on this earth
08:59as His Caliph.
09:01And this is the principle
09:03that a Caliph can never be
09:05forced to do anything.
09:07He will always be able to do it.
09:09So, the absolute power
09:11has given the Caliph the power
09:13to put me on this earth.
09:15Now, when you have been given the power,
09:17then you have also been given
09:19the freedom of action.
09:21There is your test.
09:24There is my test.
09:26There are two things in front of me.
09:30Bitterness and sweetness.
09:32What do I take from them?
09:34While God has clearly told me
09:36what is good and what is bad,
09:38what to do and what not to do.
09:40Do's and do nots.
09:42Both have a very long list.
09:44God has taught me that
09:46through His Prophets,
09:48through the Book.
09:50And He has given me the power.
09:52Now, I have freedom.
09:54I can choose whatever I want.
09:56But then I am answerable to God.
09:58I have to account for it.
10:00So, if there is no bitterness,
10:02then we will be like
10:04a creature
10:06who has no accountability.
10:08Remember,
10:10there is no authority there.
10:12An angel has no authority
10:14over anything.
10:16He only obeys the commands of God.
10:18That is why he has no accountability.
10:20Which one would you like to talk about?
10:22Yes, you first.
10:24Give him the mic.
10:26My question is,
10:28in the field of spirituality,
10:30what is the status of women?
10:32Because we see more men
10:34in the majority.
10:36Bibi Rabia Basri
10:38has a very high status.
10:40She was a woman.
10:42So,
10:44a person who works hard
10:46to get closer to God,
10:48he will definitely
10:50get his reward.
10:52He comes closer to God.
10:54This is a very glaring
10:56example of Bibi Rabia Basri.
10:58But,
11:00women,
11:02in this respect,
11:04in my opinion,
11:06should be called oppressed.
11:08They are burdened
11:10with so many responsibilities
11:12that they are unable
11:14to focus on worship completely.
11:16All women
11:18do the obligatory worship.
11:20But, beyond that,
11:22their responsibilities
11:24are so heavy
11:26that only women
11:28will be seen
11:30who have reached a high status in spirituality.
11:32So, whether it is
11:34Kashf-e-Kabur or Kashf-e-Shaksi,
11:36and in Kashf-e-Shaksi,
11:38we will discuss
11:40how to
11:42attain the
11:44Kashf-e-Ikhtiari,
11:46which very few saints attain.
11:48For that,
11:50the foundation needs to be laid
11:52that
11:54how benevolent you are
11:56for the creation of God.
11:58The more benevolent you are
12:00for the creation of God,
12:02the sooner
12:04you will attain the nearness of God.
12:06When we
12:08studied in class 9 or 10,
12:10our head teacher
12:12used to teach us English.
12:14His teaching
12:16method was very beautiful.
12:18At that time, we used to wonder
12:20what this method was.
12:22His teaching method
12:24was very beautiful.
12:26He used to teach us a text book for 15 minutes
12:28and then he used to tell us a story.
12:32We used to hear
12:34a lot of things in class.
12:36One day,
12:38he told us that
12:40the easiest way to
12:42enter the heart of a mother
12:44is to love her children.
12:46God is much more
12:48benevolent than a mother.
12:50The easiest way to
12:52attain the nearness of God
12:54is to be benevolent for His creation.
12:56When you
12:58are benevolent for His creation,
13:00then He
13:02attains the nearness of God.
13:04When He attains the nearness of God,
13:06then a lot of things go wrong.
13:08But the foundation is there.
13:10What would you like to say?
13:12How can a person
13:14develop the quality of forgiveness?
13:16And what are the limits of forgiveness?
13:18There is a
13:20Sunnah of the Prophet.
13:22The Prophet had
13:24the quality of
13:26forgiveness
13:28at all levels.
13:30So, we say
13:32that to forgive is
13:34according to the Sunnah of the Prophet.
13:36Secondly,
13:38God also forgives.
13:40It is the Sunnah of God
13:42to forgive.
13:44So, there is no
13:46limit to this.
13:48But the first part of the question
13:50is
13:52how to develop this quality.
13:54The strange coincidence is that
13:56on the path of goodness,
13:58if you take a step
14:00in any direction,
14:04there is a fight
14:06against the ego.
14:08And to follow
14:10the ego is
14:12very difficult.
14:14The shortcut
14:16to this
14:18is that
14:20the ego is
14:22opposed to everything.
14:24The ego that you are
14:26talking about
14:28has gone 180 degrees
14:30in the opposite direction.
14:32So, gradually,
14:34the ego gets defeated
14:36and then it comes under control.
14:38What would you like to say?
14:40Peace be upon you, Shahzad.
14:42You mentioned in a lecture
14:44that Imam Ghazali says
14:46that in the heart of which
14:48there are seven carcasses,
14:50there is no God.
14:52You mentioned Hirsul Taam
14:54and Hirsul Kalam.
14:56It was a food for thought for me.
14:58I realized why I am doing this
15:00in my life.
15:02My question is
15:04if you could explain
15:06about the carcasses
15:08and this topic.
15:40He is very pure.
15:42Such a pure Lord
15:44cannot live in that heart
15:46where there is
15:48even a little
15:50carcass.
15:52He wants to say
15:54that purify your heart from carcasses.
15:56Anger,
15:58jealousy,
16:00envy, Hirsul Kalam,
16:02Hirsul Taam,
16:04all these things
16:06can purify
16:08your heart.
16:10Only then
16:12will the Lord live in that heart.
16:14This means
16:16that
16:18all these things
16:20are related to the soul.
16:22So, if
16:24these remain in our heart,
16:26then
16:28at some point
16:30or the other,
16:32we will
16:34listen to our soul
16:36and we will go away from the Lord.
16:38Do not listen to words.
16:40Listen to what
16:42the Lord wants to say.
16:46As I was saying
16:48earlier,
16:50that
16:52the Lord is inviting us
16:54to fight with the soul.
16:58Fight with the soul.
17:00Purify your heart.
17:02Then
17:04you will attain the nearness of the Lord.
17:08How to attain spirituality?
17:10And the second question is,
17:12how to increase your risk?
17:14As far as
17:16attaining spirituality is concerned,
17:18I have already answered
17:202-3 questions.
17:22The most difficult task
17:24is to bear
17:26the force of God's creation
17:28happily.
17:30Man cannot bear
17:32the force of God's creation.
17:34The person
17:36who has learned
17:38to bear the force of God's creation,
17:40he will definitely
17:42attain spirituality.
17:44This is the first step.
17:48I am speaking
17:50in Urdu and Punjabi
17:52in front of you
17:54and wasting your time.
17:56I am giving you
17:58advice.
18:00If someone says to me,
18:02I will hit him with a brick.
18:06I will not be able to bear
18:08the force of anyone.
18:10First of all,
18:12a person should remove
18:14this thing from himself.
18:16And to remove it,
18:18take a strange path.
18:20The Lord has
18:22said in the Holy Quran,
18:24that all honour is for
18:26Allah.
18:28Whoever He wants,
18:30He grants honour.
18:32I was not able to
18:34convey the rest.
18:36All honour is for
18:38Allah.
18:40But if I am sure
18:42that all honour is for
18:44Allah,
18:46whoever He wants,
18:48He grants honour.
18:52When my Lord wants
18:54to give me honour,
18:56the whole world
18:58will not be able
19:00to stop me.
19:02And if He wants
19:04to do the opposite,
19:06the whole world
19:08will not be able
19:10to save me.
19:12So, where did
19:14my insult come from?
19:16You and I use
19:18the phrase,
19:20This is the thing
19:22that is most
19:24carefully kept.
19:26At least, I keep it.
19:28How can anyone
19:30take my money?
19:34It is the gift of Allah.
19:36Anyone can take it,
19:38but
19:40I will keep it
19:42the most carefully.
19:44And the more subtle thing
19:46is that
19:48I say that my life
19:50and death are in the hands of my Lord.
19:54If someone
19:56puts a gun to my head and
19:58threatens me with death,
20:00then where is my faith?
20:02I keep saying
20:04this day and night.
20:08So, to
20:10acquire spirituality,
20:12first of all,
20:14I should have faith in the
20:16Lord.
20:18When I
20:20have faith in the Lord,
20:22when I believe in His
20:24words,
20:26and when He
20:28starts to
20:30shine through
20:32my personal actions,
20:34then I should
20:36understand that
20:38I am now
20:40qualified to acquire
20:42spirituality.
20:44Now,
20:46there is
20:48a simple way
20:50to acquire
20:52spirituality.
20:54You should
20:56make Allah's people
20:58a part of your
21:00sustenance.
21:02You should
21:04make them
21:06a part of your
21:08sustenance as much as
21:10you can.
21:12Parents,
21:14relatives,
21:16friends,
21:18and loved ones
21:20are all
21:22going to meet
21:24in this priority.
21:26When we make the Lord a part of us,
21:30then our sustenance
21:32benefits us a lot.
21:34What would you like to say?
21:36If our parents are in this world
21:38or have left this world,
21:40how can we serve them
21:42in a better way?
21:44These things are
21:46written in books.
21:50If our parents
21:52are alive,
21:54if our parents
21:56are alive,
21:58then we should
22:00serve them wholeheartedly.
22:02If they have
22:04left this world,
22:06then we should pray for them
22:08and
22:10give them
22:12charity
22:14so that
22:16their soul will be blessed.
22:18We should pray for them.
22:20What would you like to say?
22:22The question was
22:24how can we eliminate
22:26negative energy from our life?
22:28And
22:30the seven
22:32subtleties,
22:34please comment on that.
