00:00Well, we got to start with Kirk, right?
00:06It's a big day today.
00:07We keep talking about it.
00:08You're saying, well, how can we possibly like her cousins in this game?
00:11And to which I say again, if you go back and you go through, you know, like even that first
00:16week, right?
00:17Two picks, you look terrible.
00:18And then the next week he goes for two 41 against the Eagles and two touchdowns.
00:21Now, granted, that was a different Eagles defense.
00:24It hasn't quite put it together like they have recently.
00:26But even if you go to that new Orleans game where he wasn't very good, two 38 with no
00:29touchdowns.
00:30What did he do the next week?
00:31Oh, that's right.
00:32Five hundred nine yards and four touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
00:36So anything's possible.
00:37But if you look at the trend, the trend is not great over his last three games.
00:42No touchdowns.
00:43Six picks.
00:44There was a buy there where you thought, OK, maybe we things get right.
00:46And all of a sudden it wasn't.
00:47Now, they have faced some, you know, challenging teams.
00:51Chargers are a good team.
00:52They're a playoff team.
00:53They've got good defense.
00:54The Denver Broncos are a playoff team.
00:57Good defense.
00:58Again, two AFC teams.
00:59I continue to preach that the AFC is the better conference, top to bottom, far more competitive.
01:03The NFC is very top heavy.
01:05You've got the Eagles and the Lions at the top, and they got teams with some good records
01:08that are based off the fact the rest of this conference is mid at best.
01:13So I think that's part of this trend line.
01:15But you also have to look at what's going on with Minnesota last couple of weeks and
01:18their inability to convert in the red zone, their inability at times to, you know, make
01:23sure that they're getting touchdowns instead of field goals.
01:26And the defense is still very good.
01:29They've done a great job.
01:30They're putting pressure on the quarterback.
01:32But the one thing, again, I keep going back to is Kirk Cousins understands that as one
01:36thing Kirk Cousins is good at doing potentially is making sure that he is aware of where the
01:40pressure is coming from and getting rid of the football quickly.
01:42And I think that's something he has to really focus on in this game and be prepared for.
01:46I think he is.
01:47I think there is something important about this homecoming for him.
01:51And while everybody's counting him out, that's typically when Kirk Cousins, even going back
01:55to the Washington commander days, has been at his best.
02:00When Kirk Cousins is left out, that's usually when you want to buy in.
02:04So I like them to cover in this game today.
02:06And on top of which, I think he's a viable streamer in single QB leagues.
02:10Again, you got to hold your breath.
02:12You're going to go light a candle in church, probably.
02:15But I think Kirk Cousins shows up in this game.
02:17I think the Falcons do too.
02:19And I think they put up some fantasy points.
02:21All right.
02:22Next up here is a really good one because I like when we dive deeper here.
02:26Give me a most blank this season and then give me a list of guys.
02:30So what do we have?
02:33About the most receptions this season.
02:35The most catches by anybody is not a wide receiver.
02:38It's a tight end.
02:39It's actually a rookie tight end.
02:41It's Brock Bowers.
02:42Now, I know he came off a huge game last week there, but man, Brock Bowers is really putting
02:48out some incredible numbers.
02:50I remember there was an interview with Nick Saban where they asked him, you know, who
02:54really gave you trouble?
02:55Who are the guys that were really problems?
02:57And he said, Brock Bowers.
02:58Like, that was his first guy.
02:59No hesitation.
03:01That guy is a problem.
03:02No matter where you put him on the field, he is an issue.
03:06And I think what you're starting to see is that's now converting over to the NFL, and
03:10they're starting to use him in more creative ways.
03:12Now, the problem is you don't have a really offensive-minded head coach.
03:15You have a defensive guy at the top.
03:17So it would take a great offensive mind, I think, to really unlock all that is special
03:23about Brock Bowers.
03:24But you're starting to see it emerge regardless.
03:26I mean, if you look at why Travis Kelce has had such a great career, a big part of it
03:30is not just Patrick Mahomes.
03:31It's also Andy Reid and understanding how valuable Travis is and has been to that Chiefs
03:37team in terms of what they can do with that offense.
03:39And Brock Bowers has 84 catches.
03:42The next guy at 79, C.D. Lamb, followed by Jamar Chase at 79, tied there.
03:46And then Amon Ross ain't proud at 76.
03:49So Bowers has been spectacular.
03:50I think it's kind of sad, in a way, that he's not even getting any publicity for Rookie
03:56of the Year.
03:57It typically goes to a quarterback.
03:58And Jaden Daniels is at minus 270.
04:00Bo Nix is at plus 230.
04:01Those are two quarterbacks that are rookies that are getting their teams in the playoff
04:05contention.
04:06So I get that.
04:07They're very deserving.
04:08But damn it, Brock Bowers deserves a little bit of love, too.
04:10And I just wanted to give him some on the show because he's been so damn good.
04:13And if you have him in Dynasty Leagues, you've got to be very excited for what the future
04:17is.
04:18Regardless, I mean, the fact that he could do what he's done with Gardner Minshew and
04:21Aiden O'Connell, imagine if they actually get a real quarterback going forward, how
04:25good Brock Bowers could really be.
