00:00It's time to look at NFL bounce back candidates Joe now you write the fantasy black book you sit down and personally did the quarterbacks I believe this year was under your umbrella so you're the perfect guy to have the conversation because I love this next player always had he's one of these set it and forget it and I don't care about flashy bells and whistles I just want to know that you're not going to be a headache for me and that's what this is all about.
00:29That's what this next player is taking away on this quarterback in a new offensive ecosystem.
00:35Yeah, Kirk Cousins brings his coals cash to Atlanta. That's right. That's where he's going right now and I think once again people continue to underestimate Kirk Cousins 2020 finishes QB 11 in 2021 he finishes QB 11 in 2022 he finishes QB seven, and then last year obviously incomplete season only played eight games we throw that out the window, but he is in a situation here.
00:58You can argue is pretty much lined up as good as it gets you have a stud young running back a stud tight end and a stud wide receiver all of which are still in there very much prime years of football.
01:10So there might be a little bit of time where you're trying to figure out system you're trying to figure out timing you're trying to figure out all those little tiny details that's what training campus for and cousins been working his way slowly back from that Achilles injury being a little careful, which is a good thing.
01:25But the big takeaway I have with her cousins is I heard an interview with him on the NFL radio channel earlier this week and he was saying that the big difference for him now is at this stage in his career, you know, people will say well we could do this or we could do that and he said he's a player that typically would just go with whatever the coach wanted over his career.
01:43And he said now that I'm where I am in my career and how many years I have left in my career and been around so long.
01:49I'm finally speaking out he's like I feel like I've finally, you know, found my voice from like yeah you know what we've done x. Let's do y instead y is going to work out better from what I've seen and what I've been able to do in my career.
02:01And I think you would, you know, even in your other days as a professional wrestler, you know, there's certain things with a ring IQ you start to get to where you just kind of know what's going to work and what's not going to work as I'm just being the good soldier and going through stuff.
02:14You're voicing your opinion about stuff and I think that command is going to serve the Falcons well and possibly get them off to a better start.
02:22So if you're in a single quarterback league, and a deeper league again, or even just a 12 team league, taking a Jaden Daniels at the end and maybe a cousins just to back it up, man that's having your cake and eating it too, because if Daniels goes off he could be a top five top six quarterback.
02:35And if he doesn't play well well Kirk cousins going to finish this QB 10 and you're okay. And I think that's exactly where you're at with cousins I love them it's super flex this year I think you're getting a value on him, I would take him over Stafford I would take him over Aaron Rogers all those guys where he's going over currently so Kirk cousins I would be looking for a bounce back season.
