01:38And the sugar syrup that we are talking about comes into the words,
01:45which actually comes into the heart.
01:47Because the words come out of the heart, they directly affect the heart.
01:52Similarly, Masnavi is such a poem, in which many topics of Sufism have been discussed.
02:00Maulana Rumi has described many topics in a poetic way.
02:05So, it is necessary that we refer to these days,
02:10which are celebrated especially in these days,
02:14and Maulana Rumi's followers from all over the world are included in it.
02:18And Masnavi is recited there, it is also mentioned there.

02:27those who love them, they feel it.

04:40Alhamdulillah, people are benefiting from it.
04:44And they are moving towards Sufism.
04:49Your name was Girami Muhammad and your title was Jalaluddin.
04:55In general, they used to call you Maulana Rumi.
04:58Yes, they used to call me Maulana Rumi.
05:01But what they themselves say about themselves,
05:07that how can I call a Maulvi Maulana Rumi.
05:11Wow, wow, wow.
05:12SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah.
05:14He says that he has an incident,
05:17that he was teaching books when he was a Maulvi.
05:23And there were many books.
05:26He was sitting near a house and was teaching.
05:32And a dervish comes.
05:35And he says, Maulvi Ichist, Maulvi Ichist.
05:44He thought that these are books of different sciences and arts.
05:49What should this dervish be told?
05:51This is logic, this is philosophy, this is literature, this is Tafseer, this is Hadith,
05:54this is the principle of Fiqh and there are many other arts.
05:59So he said briefly,
06:01Dervish Ichist, Maulvi Ichist.
06:05This is the secret that you do not know.
06:08He said, okay.
06:09You picked up the Kalmi books and put them in the house.
06:13Right.
06:15Then there was chaos.
06:18Our precious wealth was these books.
06:23Because those books had not even been transferred to the heart yet.
06:28Wow, wow.
06:29It was on the Auraq.
06:30Right.
06:31And I often say, some of my friends also feel this.

06:36I say that the common scholar also has knowledge.
06:44Right.
06:45The Sufi also has knowledge.
06:47The common scholar has knowledge of the Auraq.
06:50Allahu Akbar.
06:51He reads what is written in the books.
06:53Right.
06:54And the Sufi has knowledge of the Azwaq.
06:57Wow.
06:58Knowledge of the flavors.
06:59Subhanallah.
07:00He reads and tells, he tastes and tells.

07:03This is the difference.

07:05So he said, what is this?
07:07All the knowledge is wasted.
07:09So you said, don't worry.
07:12He took out the dry books and kept them outside.
07:16He was surprised that such a big thing,
07:19these books go in the water in front of us and are Kalmi books.
07:23He asked, Duresh, is this the thing?
07:26So he said, Maulvi, this is the thing that you didn't expect.
07:29Wow, wow, wow.
07:31So this incident created a change in him.

07:36And then the search began.
07:37And then the incident of the future.

07:41Doctor, I want you to take this point forward.
07:45First of all, the reason for his fame,
07:47Maulana Arun's apparent knowledge,
07:49and in terms of the knowledge of that era, he was a ruler.

07:58so his age, birth, family background and the reason for his fame,

08:22So, one of the reasons for his fame is that when he wrote a book,
08:27and as the Hazrat has mentioned,
08:29he met Shams Tabri and after that his world changed.

08:36His Kaal changed into Haal, his Zahir changed into Batin,
08:42and his Shuneed changed into Deed.

08:46This was one thing, but if we look at the second angle,
08:50then the reason for his fame was his childhood.
08:53Right.
08:54Because his relationship was with an intellectual and spiritual family.
08:59Absolutely.
09:00And his father, Hazrat Bahauddin Balkhi,
09:05he was a very pious scholar.
09:08And the state of his knowledge was that from morning till dusk,
09:14which we call Dars-e-Nizami,
09:16there is Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh,
09:19he used to teach the contemporary knowledge.
09:21Right.
09:22And the sequence did not stop here.
09:24Rather, after dusk, he used to teach people about Sufism,
09:27and knowledge, and the secrets and symbols.
09:30SubhanAllah.
09:31And similarly, on the day of Jummah and Peer,
09:35he was specialized for Aamat-un-Nas.
09:38Right.
09:39And in that, he used to explain and advise Aamat-un-Nas.
09:42Right.
09:43So, in this family, Maulana Rumi has been raised.
09:47So, as it is said,
09:48Al-Waladu Sirr-un-li-Abihi.
09:50Wow.
09:51So, the son is the father's secret.
09:54So, how can we believe that the father's qualities were not passed on to the son?

10:00So, there is a similar Arabic poem,
10:02in which Hatim Tai,
10:05who is famous for his generosity,
10:07his son was Adi.
10:09Hadi bin Hatim.
10:10Right.
10:11So, the poet says,
10:13Bi-Abihi Iqtada Adiyun Fil Karam.
10:18Wow.
10:19Faman Shaabaha Abahu Fama Zalam.
10:22Wow.
10:23That, Adi bin Hatim, in his generosity,
10:25followed the footsteps of his father.
10:28And in the next excerpt, he says,
10:30The son who follows his father's footsteps,
10:33he has not committed any injustice.
10:35Because these things have been genetically passed on to him.
10:40It is present in his nature.
10:41It is present in his nature.
10:43So, in the same way,
10:44the qualities of your father were also present in you.
10:48Right.
10:49This is the reason,
10:50when you were six years old,
10:52Hazrat Farid-ud-Din Attar,
10:54who is the author of Mantiq-ud-Tair,
10:57he went to Balkh to meet your father.

11:02So, when he saw his son,
11:04he knew that he was going to become a great personality in the future.

11:10you told your father that
11:11this is your son,
11:13he is very capable.

11:16So, don't be careless with his upbringing.
11:18Protect him and raise him well.
11:21And not only this,
11:23when you migrated from Balkh,
11:25and the king of Khwarazm,
11:29who was the ruler of Balkh at that time,
11:31because of his jealousy,
11:33or jealousy,
11:34you decided to leave Balkh.
11:36Right.
11:37And you migrated.
11:39And your son was also with you.
11:41So, while you were traveling,
11:42when you reached Damascus,
11:44and there,
11:45you met Sheikh Ibn-e-Arabi Al-Rahma.

11:50When Ibn-e-Arabi Al-Rahma saw his father and son,
11:54when they were coming to meet,
11:56the father was moving ahead,
11:58and the son was coming behind.
12:00So, on that occasion,
12:01you said that
12:02the sea is moving behind the river.
12:05Allahu Akbar.
12:06Allahu Akbar.
12:07Meaning, if the father holds the position of the river,
12:09then in the future,
12:10the son is going to be so great,
12:13that the son will become the sea.
12:15Amazing.
12:16Subhanallah.
12:17So, Sheikh Ibn-e-Arabi Al-Rahma,
12:18like Muttabahir Alam,
12:20and Imam Al-Falasifah,
12:22and Imam Al-Mutasawwifin,
12:23gave you this title
12:24when you were 11 years old.
12:27Amazing.
12:28Subhanallah.
12:29So, one thing is that
12:30you got this fame from childhood.
12:33The second fame is that
12:34we can divide your life into two parts.
12:36Absolutely right.
12:37From here,

13:56you read the great books
13:58of Fiqh,

14:07you were busy with
14:08completing the religious knowledge.

14:10After that,
14:11you decided to go to Damascus.
14:13When you went to Damascus,
14:16you benefited greatly
14:18from the scholars there.

14:21And,
14:22from all the
14:23great scholars of that time,
14:24you read the same knowledge.
14:25Right.
14:26And,
14:27you read it for many years.
14:28Right.
14:29After that,
14:30you came back to Konya.
14:31Right.
14:32And,
14:33after coming back to Konya,
14:34when you reached
14:35Masnad-e-Tadrees.
14:37Right.
14:38When you reached
14:39Masnad-e-Tadrees,
14:40at that time,
14:41your intellectual status was that,
14:43the far-reaching scholars
14:45used to come to you
14:46to complete the knowledge.
14:47Right.
14:48So,
14:49in Fiqh,
14:50you were very skilled.
14:52In Fiqh,
14:53you had great talent.
14:54And,
14:55in Fiqh religions,
14:56you had great talent.
14:57Right.
14:58Now,
14:59in Fiqh and
15:00in Fiqh religions,
15:01you have acquired
15:02the status of a Sannad.

15:04This is the reason
15:05that people used to
15:06ask for permission
15:07from far-reaching people.

15:09And,
15:10they used to ask for
15:11fatwas from far-reaching people.
15:12And,
15:13all the
15:14debates
15:15or
15:16debates
15:17in the
15:18debates
15:19and debates,
15:20your parrot
15:21used to speak.
15:22Wow.
15:23Glory to Allah.
15:24And,
15:25this is the reason
15:26that you were given
15:27the title
15:28that
15:29you are
15:30Sultan-ul-Ulama.
15:31Glory to Allah.
15:32And,
15:33you are
15:34Imam-ul-Fuqaha.
15:35Right.
15:36So,
15:37you are
15:38Sultan-ul-Ulama
15:39and
15:40Imam-ul-Fuqaha.
15:41Right.
15:42This is
15:43the reason
15:44that
15:45your
15:46fame
15:47and
15:48your
15:49perfection
15:50was
15:51not
15:52present
15:53at all.
15:54Absolutely right.
15:55Ok,
15:56let us move
15:57forward a little
15:58from here.

16:00knowledge
16:01and
16:02your fame
16:03and
16:04your
16:05perfection
16:06was
16:07there
16:08from
16:09a time.
16:10But,
16:11after that,
16:12And in that, the fame that was gained continuously and the spread that was gained in relation to your personality,

16:21Yes, Dr. Sahib, as I have said earlier,
16:25that what I have said about myself,
16:30so it is said,
16:32Maulvi,
16:33I have not become Maulvi till I have become the servant of Shams Tabrez.
16:43This is the lesson that he has given in his entire life.
16:47Which is also a guide for us,
16:50that if you want to get a position,
16:53then you can get it by sitting at the feet of a blessed person.
17:02One of the knowledge of Hazrat Araf-e-Rumeen,
17:08the level of his knowledge,
17:11some of his books,
17:13the few books that you have written,
17:16one of them is Masnavi,
17:20which is in six volumes.
17:22And it is a great miracle that
17:24that Masnavi is being translated in every country, in every language.
17:28And the secrets and symbols are described in such a way,
17:31that it is astonishing.
17:33And in that, by giving examples,
17:36by narrating the incidents,
17:38he would bring out the aspect of reformation from it.
17:41And he would bring out the conclusion of it.
17:43What is the purpose of this incident?
17:45What is the result of this?
17:47These things used to happen.
17:49And there is a book of his, Feeh-e-Maafi,
17:53a collection of his letters.
17:56In the same way,
17:58there is a collection of his letters,
18:01and there are others as well.
18:03It is in the name of Saba,
18:05Rasail-e-Saba.
18:09You have explained a lot of things through the years.
18:16One, he says,
18:19that four people from different languages have gathered.
18:24Yes.
18:26There was Turkish,
18:29and there was Hindi,
18:32and there was Arabic.
18:34So, there were people from four different languages.
18:36There was also Persian.
18:38So, they,
18:41someone gave them half a dirham.
18:45One dirham.
18:46Right.
18:47That this is for you.
18:50So, they discussed what we should eat.
18:53One said,
18:54I will bring grapes.
18:56We will eat.
18:57He said,
18:58No, no.
18:59We will take grapes.
19:01Okay.
19:02The other said,
19:03we will take grapes.
19:04Right.
19:05The third said,
19:07we will take in our own language.
19:10What?
19:11We will take pistachios.
19:12Yes.
19:14So, they were fighting over that.
19:17All four of them were not familiar with each other's language.
19:20Right.
19:21They were not aware that they were taking the name of the same thing.
19:25Then a man came who knew all four languages.
19:28Then he said,
19:30I will solve this.
19:32He went and brought money and grapes.
19:35He also said,
19:36I also wanted this.
19:37He also said,
19:38I also wanted this.
19:39So, by giving this example,
19:40their aim is that
19:41since you do not know all languages,
19:43Yes.
19:44that is why you are deceived
19:46that it is something else,
19:47this is something else.
19:48So, in Sufism,
19:50everything is the name of the same thing.
19:52Exactly.
19:53So, the lesson that Arif Rumi has taught
19:55is the lesson of Unity of Existence.

19:58And you have given examples of this in many places.

20:09There was a Maulana who was very opposed to them.

20:19that Arif Rumi has an agreement with everyone.

20:51The Maulana said,
20:53yes, I have an agreement with everyone.
20:55So, he started abusing.

21:07I have an agreement with him as well.

21:10So, you can imagine that
21:12the Islam that he has spread,
21:16he has spread it with his good morals.

21:19With his loved ones,
21:20with strangers,
21:21he has taught everyone good morals.
21:23Right.
21:24We have come to the point
21:26where we should talk about
21:28Maulana Rumi's thoughts and views.

22:22What was the environment of that time
22:24when Maulana Rumi
22:26was busy in his writing and writing.

24:04about love.

24:16come towards love.
