00:00In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Seal of the Prophets.
00:15Respected viewers, peace and blessings be upon you.
00:18Dr. Mehmood Ghaznavi and our favorite scholar, Mr. Shujauddin Shaikh are here with us today.
00:30In the last episode of Seerat-un-Nabi, we were discussing the work to be done against the deniers of Islam.
00:41In the last episode of Iqamat-e-Deen, we were discussing the fundamental responsibilities of Islam.
00:50Obviously, when it comes to social attitudes, it goes a long way, and there are some things that need to be criticized.
01:01But we should start with ourselves.
01:04So, I should first think about what I am doing.
01:09I should first think about what I am doing.
01:13I should also think about whether I am lying or not.
01:19And if I am lying, then I should take my finger back.
01:23First, I should correct my lies, and then I will talk about it.
01:26So, we were discussing these issues.
01:29And in the end, we were talking about Jihad.
01:34We have taken the word Qital from Jihad.
01:38Qital is also the biggest part of Jihad.
01:43But the fundamental objective of Jihad is Jidd-o-Jahid.
01:47The Jidd-o-Jahid of the establishment of the religion.
01:50And Jihad against oneself is the biggest Jihad.
01:53We should do that first.
01:54So, we were talking about this.
01:55So, I will go to Mr. Shujauddin Shaikh to take a little recap of the previous program.
01:58Then we will move forward, Inshallah.
02:00Assalamu Alaikum.
02:01Walaikum Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.
02:03How are you?
02:04Alhamdulillah.
02:05Alhamdulillah.
02:06We have another issue.
02:08We have excluded one word from all our religious activities.
02:16And this is a very painful thing.
02:19And that is the word Jihad.
02:21And we have taken the meaning of Jihad that it is fighting and fighting and dying.
02:26Obviously, not everyone will fight.
02:29If there is a state, if there is a state of Jihad, then there will be Jidd-o-Jahid.
02:34And it will be from the state.
02:36We are so afraid of it that we have excluded that word.
02:40Actually, Jihad is Jidd-o-Jahid.
02:43Jidd-o-Jahid of the religion.
02:44Jidd-o-Jahid against oneself.
02:46All our Jidd-o-Jahids.
02:48So, remove this misunderstanding first.
02:50That it is the greatest Jihad which Allah has commanded.
02:53But there are some Jihads before that which should be done.
02:56We will talk about that later.
02:58May Allah reward you all.
03:00In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
03:02Allahumma salli wa sallim ala nabiyyina Muhammad.
03:05Rabbish rahuli sadri wa yassirili amri.
03:07Wahlul uqudatahum min lisani yafqahum qawli.
03:09Wa ja'ali wazeeran min ahli.
03:11Ameen. Ya Rabb al-alameen.
03:13You have put a very important point in relation to the word Jihad.
03:18And I would like to recap the previous program.
03:21And after that, today, we will make an effort on the word Jihad.
03:25So, I think we will talk about this in detail later.
03:27First, let us take a recap of the previous program.
03:29In the previous sessions, we spoke about the Jidd-o-Jahid of Iqamat-e-Deen.
03:34And in the previous program, we talked about the Jidd-o-Jahid of Iqamat-e-Deen.
03:37The Jidd-o-Jahid of conquering the religion of Allah.
03:39So, these Jidd-o-Jahids will be those who are Allah's.
03:43Or these Jidd-o-Jahids will have to become Allah's.
03:46And to become Allah's means to establish and implement the religion of Allah on your existence.
03:52Wherever you have the authority, work hard to establish it.
03:55If this is a changeable event, then such changeable individuals should be joined.
04:00And if they are organized, then they should become a party of Allah.
04:03A community of Allah.
04:04They should try to establish themselves in the Jidd-o-Jahid of the religion of Allah.
04:08And this is found in the biography of the Prophet.
04:12During the 23 years of Jidd-o-Jahid, there are two big parts.
04:15One is the Meccan life and the other is the Madani era.
04:18In the Meccan era, the great Dawah of the Holy Qur'an, the revolutionary Dawah, was presented.
04:23And the Dawah of Tawheed was presented.
04:25This Dawah was organized by those who accepted it.
04:27It made them Allah's.
04:29It made them go through the stages of Tarbiyyat.
04:31It made them go through the stages of Sabr.
04:33And it made them Kundan and joined them in a Bait-e-Samuta'at.
04:36It gave them the form of an organized community.
04:38Then the stages of Badr started after that.
04:40And the stages of Qital also started.
04:42So, this is what we were talking about last time.
04:44The second thing we learned and repeated.
04:46That this country of God, Pakistan, we got it in the name of Islam.
04:49This is a strange country in the world.
04:51Which was established on the basis of a view and a word.
04:54However, in our preference, may Allah forgive us.
04:57That Allah's being, Allah's Prophet's blessing, Allah's religion, Allah's Qur'an.
05:02This Qur'an is one.
05:03These are not included in our preference.
05:05Today, the fundamental reason for our humiliation and humiliation is that we were disloyal to Allah.
05:09We will have to rethink this.
05:11In fact, we will have to think.
05:14The third thing is that what we have to work hard for.
05:17It will start with us.
05:19Where I have the authority, I will act on religion.
05:21And then I will try to move forward.
05:23These were some points that we brought under discussion last time.
05:28Today, the national temperament, we talked about it.
05:30What is our national temperament?
05:32We all know, I don't need to explain.
05:34May Allah protect us.
05:35This is our national temperament.
05:37The matter of falsehood, the matter of treachery, the matter of treachery.
05:40This is a hypocritical character.
05:42Today, our collective character is formed.
05:45So, how can Allah's mercy come?
05:47These are some things that we tried to understand last time.
05:52Today, with your cooperation, we will understand the word Jihad.
05:57And I used the word consciously.
06:00The Mujahideen will also know this.
06:02And you will also talk about the types of Jihad.
06:05And when does Jihad reach the level of fighting?
06:08We will also talk about this.
06:10This is a very superlative degree.
06:13This is a very advanced stage.
06:16First, let's decide the initial stage.
06:18Brother, this Jihad is actually a struggle.
06:21First, you have to struggle with yourself.
06:24The biggest Jihad is to do Jihad with yourself.
06:27First, do Jihad with this.
06:29After that, my religious brothers who are doing Tabligh for religion,
06:33and are spending their time,
06:35and are leaving their homes,
06:39their responsibility is that after this,
06:42their Mujahideen have done their Mujahidah very well.
06:46Now, the second stage is that of Amr bil Bahruf and Nahiyan al Munkar.
06:50In the society, it is necessary to struggle against the Munkirat.
06:55First, do it against them.
06:57And this is also a sign of worship.
06:59Yes, your point is valid.
07:01First, let's open the word Jihad.
07:04Then, Mujahida.
07:05If this word is clear, it will be very enjoyable to understand.
07:09As you said, the word Jihad is made from Juhud.
07:13In Urdu, we use Jiddh, Juhud, Mehnat, Koshish, Struggle.
07:17These are the common words we use.
07:19So, the literal meaning of Jihad is to try, to work hard, to struggle.
07:24This Koshish can be positive or negative.
07:28So, we will talk about positive.
07:30Otherwise, think about it.
07:32It is mentioned in the Quran about the Mushrikeen.
07:34The word Jihad is
07:43If those two parents put pressure on you,
07:47try to put pressure on you.
07:49Allah is saying,
07:50If you associate anyone with me,
07:53do not listen to your parents.
07:55I am reading the word again in Surah Luqman.
08:01If those two parents put pressure on you,
08:04try to put pressure on you.
08:06Allah is saying,
08:07If you associate anyone with me,
08:09do not listen to your parents.
08:11So, this Jihad, this effort, this effort can also be negative.
08:14Like the efforts of the Mushrikeen, the efforts of the Kafir.
08:17We are not talking about this yet.
08:19So, Jihad in the sense of effort.
08:21Mujahida.
08:22It will be very enjoyable to understand this word.
08:24We know a few words.
08:26What is Musharqa?
08:28Shirkat, partnership.
08:30What is Mubahatha?
08:32This is your field.
08:33Discussion, discussion.
08:35Mukaalama.
08:36This is also a word.
08:37I am talking.
08:38Mubahasa, Muhawara, Mukaalama.
08:41Muhakama.
08:42Muhakama, okay.
08:43So, Mujahida.
08:44Okay, Mujahida, Musharqa, Muqatila.
08:47It is said that in Muqatila,
08:49two dacoits were killed
08:51and two police officers were martyred.
08:53It is said, right?
08:54This is two-sided.
08:55Here, the dacoits are acting against the police officers.
08:58The police officers are acting against them.
09:00This is a two-sided matter.
09:01So, in comparison, two dacoits were killed
09:03and two police officers were martyred.
09:04We read this every day.
09:05This is a two-sided matter.
09:06Mubahasa.
09:07You are also talking.
09:08I am also talking.
09:09Mukaalama.
09:10Dialogue.
09:11You are also talking.
09:12I am also talking.
09:13Similarly, Mujahida.
09:14A is also trying.
09:16B is also trying.
09:17This is a two-sided matter.
09:18This is a very valuable point.
09:20So, Mujahida is a two-sided matter.
09:23Now, what is the good thing you have said?
09:25First of all, where is Mujahida?
09:27He is here.
09:28He is with himself.
09:29He is with himself.
09:30Okay.
09:31In the Holy Quran,
09:32in Surah Yusuf,
09:33verse number 53,
09:34at the beginning of the 13th verse,
09:35we read that
09:36Inna nafsa la'ammaratum bissu.
09:38The ego is going to invite evil.
09:41So, the ego,
09:42which is going to invite evil,
09:44its attempt is that
09:45you and I should go towards evil.
09:47What should you and I try to do?
09:49We should avoid evil
09:50and go towards good.
09:51So, the ego is going to try
09:52to take me towards evil.
09:54I am going to try to go towards good.
09:56What is your evil?
09:57It is an enemy.
09:58In Surah Fatir,
09:59verse number 6,
10:00Inna shaytaan alakum adoo'un
10:02fattakhiduhu adoo'a.
10:04The devil is your enemy.
10:05You should accept his enmity.
10:07The devil invites you towards evil,
10:08towards sin,
10:09towards disobedience,
10:10towards immorality.
10:12You have to believe in the Lord.
10:14The devil is trying.
10:15I am also trying.
10:16The ego is trying.
10:17I am also trying.
10:18One is his attempt.
10:19One is my attempt.
10:20One is my attempt.
10:21One is my attempt.
10:22In comparison,
10:23one is trying.
10:24This is Mujahida.
10:25You should understand this.
10:26Listen to this.
10:27We talked about this in the last program.
10:29It was mentioned in the intro.
10:30Where will it start?
10:31From here.
10:32From yourself.
10:33Now, it is a beautiful thing
10:34that it is mentioned in the Hadith.
10:35A question was asked to the Prophet.
10:36It is mentioned in Sunan-e-Nisa'i.
10:37O Prophet of Allah,
10:38the best of Jihad is the best.
10:41What is the best Jihad?
10:43He said,
10:44An tujahida nafsaka fee ta'atillah.
10:48You should strive with your nafs
10:50for the obedience of Allah.
10:52You should strive with your nafs
10:54for the obedience of Allah.
10:55The nafs will take you to evil.
10:56You have to go towards Allah.
10:58This is the best Jihad.
11:00When we will come to Qital,
11:02we will come to A'la.
11:03That is a long time ago.
11:04We will come to the word A'la.
11:06That is A'la.
11:07This is the best.
11:08It will start from here.
11:10If Mujahida,
11:11Muqatala,
11:12Mubahatha,
11:13Musharaka,
11:14Mukaalama
11:15are clear,
11:16then what is Mujahida?
11:17It is a matter of striving against striving.
11:19The effort of the nafs should lead to evil.
11:21The effort of the satan should lead to evil.
11:23Our effort should be in the name of Allah.
11:25And we should strive for his obedience.
11:27This is the concept of Jihad.
11:28Let's take a break,
11:29then we will come and talk.
11:30Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
11:32Welcome back.
11:33After the break,
11:34we are in the program
11:35Seeratun Nabi Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
11:37This is your best time.
11:38This is a struggle.
11:39Mujahida is a struggle.
11:41And it is a continuous struggle.
11:43The nafs is saying that it is evil.
11:45And there is pleasure in evil.
11:46The nafs is saying,
11:47come towards pleasure.
11:48And Mujahida is saying,
11:50no,
11:51towards pleasure.
11:52Send the curse,
11:53come here.
11:54There is a very good saying of an old man.
11:57He said,
11:58never sin for a little pleasure.
12:02The pleasure will be for a little while,
12:05and it will end.
12:06The pleasure is not found in the end.
12:08It is found immediately.
12:09The pleasure is found immediately.
12:10After a little while,
12:11it will end.
12:12But as a result of that pleasure,
12:13the sin that has occurred,
12:14it does not end.
12:15It goes with you all your life.
12:17It will go with you to the grave.
12:19It will stand with you in the grave.
12:21And like this,
12:22because of some struggle,
12:24don't leave the goodness.
12:25It will take a lot of effort.
12:26The struggle will end in a little while.
12:28The goodness will stay with you.
12:29It will go to the grave.
12:30It will go to the grave
12:31and stand with you on your right arm.
12:33So this Mujahida is actually
12:35the name of a struggle and a struggle.
12:38And it is a struggle with one's own self.
12:39Masha Allah.
12:40It was asked,
12:41what is the way to heaven?
12:43It was said that
12:44one step on the self
12:47and the second step is in heaven.
12:50One step on the self
12:52and the second step is in heaven.
12:54This is a very beautiful saying of someone.
12:56But the commandment of Allah
12:57is the greatest thing.
13:06This is in Surah An-Nazi'at.
13:07The one who was afraid of standing
13:09before his Lord.
13:11And the one who stopped himself
13:13from following the desire of his self.
13:17So no doubt, heaven is his abode.
13:19May Allah grant us all.
13:21What were we talking about?
13:23Jihad.
13:24Mujahida.
13:25Mujahida.
13:26It is a matter of two-sided effort.
13:27The effort of the self is an invitation to evil.
13:29The effort of Satan is an invitation to evil.
13:31Our hard work,
13:32our effort will be of the Lord.
13:34Now let's add one more thing.
13:36Effort is also negated.
13:37Like the efforts of the polytheists,
13:39the efforts of Satan are also negated.
13:41We have to make positive efforts.
13:43Now in the words of Allah,
13:46we read Jihad,
13:47Fee Sabilillah.
13:48Jihad,
13:49Fee Sabilillah.
13:50Jihad,
13:51Fee Sabilillah.
13:52It comes again and again.
13:53So Jihad in the way of Allah.
13:54In jurists,
13:55this term is also used for fighting.
13:57It is absolutely correct.
13:58And when we come to fighting,
13:59we will open up more.
14:01Sometimes the word Jihad
14:02has also come in the meaning of fighting
14:04in the Holy Quran.
14:05We will open it later.
14:06However,
14:07we have to understand a point here.
14:08When the Holy Quran says,
14:09Jihad,
14:10Fee Sabilillah.
14:11So which effort will be
14:12in the way of Allah?
14:13Where the intention is
14:14to please Allah.
14:16The intention is to please Allah.
14:18The intention is to raise the head of Allah's word.
14:21The intention is that
14:22the commandment of Allah
14:23should be exalted.
14:24So Jihad,
14:25the effort is being made
14:26by the disbelievers.
14:27The struggle is being made
14:28by the disbelievers,
14:29the polytheists,
14:30the Satan,
14:31and the ego.
14:32That effort,
14:33where the intention is
14:34to please Allah,
14:35where the intention is
14:36to raise the head of Allah's word,
14:37that effort,
14:38Jihad,
14:39Fee Sabilillah,
14:40will be established.
14:41So,
14:42we,
14:43you and I,
14:44if we don't believe in the ego,
14:45we believe in Allah.
14:46If we don't believe in Satan,
14:47we believe in Allah.
14:48And if we act on the commandment of Allah,
14:49then Jihad,
14:50Fee Sabilillah,
14:51will start.
14:52This struggle,
14:53Fee Sabilillah,
14:54will start.
14:55It will start from here
14:56to there.
14:57And then,
14:58on every level,
14:59these two-sided efforts
15:00will be going on.
15:01So,
15:02Jihad,
15:03Fee Sabilillah,
15:04will be established.
15:05These two-sided efforts
15:06will be going on.
15:07So,
15:08it is against the ego.
15:09It is against Satan.
15:10It is a corrupt society.
15:11Aren't there
15:12invitations of evil in the society?
15:13Is Satan alone?
15:14No.
15:15What is the last verse
15:16of the Holy Quran?
15:17Minal Jinnati
15:18Wannas
15:19Satan's
15:20In fact,
15:21the Holy Quran also says
15:22Hizb-us-Shaitan
15:23The whole party is Satan's.
15:24Yes.
15:25So,
15:26his disciples,
15:27his agents,
15:28in Satan's Jinnat
15:29and also in humans.
15:30So,
15:31there are also those
15:32who invite evil in the society.
15:33So,
15:34these people
15:35want to take us
15:36against Allah.
15:37We have to try
15:38against all of these.
15:39To obey Allah,
15:40to avoid disobeying Allah,
15:41in all these efforts,
15:42if the purpose is
15:43that Allah is pleased,
15:44if the purpose is
15:45that Allah's word
15:46should be raised
15:47on my existence,
15:48if the purpose is
15:49that Allah's command
15:50should be
15:51above all
15:52and above all.
15:53So,
15:54all these efforts
15:55will be established
15:56by Jihad,
15:57Fee Sabilillah.
15:58Allah wants
15:59a good,
16:00peaceful society
16:01to be established.
16:02The fundamental purpose
16:03of Jihad
16:04is that
16:05where
16:06according to
16:07Allah's will,
16:08according to
16:09Allah's will
16:10and according to
16:11the will of Allah,
16:12there should be
16:13the best opportunities
16:14for worship.
16:15Where the name
16:16and sign of evil
16:17should be
16:18in the name of evil.
16:19Evil will always
16:20exist,
16:21obviously,
16:22in every era.
16:23Evil should be
16:24in the name of evil
16:25and there should
16:26also be those
16:27who eliminate
16:28evil.
16:29So,
16:30the best Jihad
16:31will be
16:32that a peaceful
16:33society should be
16:34established
16:35and the new
16:36generation should
16:37live in that
16:38society and
16:39get a good
16:40environment for
16:41religion.
16:42To establish
16:43a good environment
16:44is also a part
16:45of our responsibility
16:46and tabligh.
16:47A very
16:48good point
16:49has come from
16:50you.
16:51Let's also
16:52know the
16:53temperament
16:54of Islam.
16:55The temperament
16:56of Islam
16:57is of
16:58community.
16:59How?
17:00Look at
17:01Ramadan.
17:02In every
17:03area,
17:04there is a
17:05difference of
17:06one day in
17:07the world.
17:08In every
17:09area,
17:10the month of
17:11Ramadan is
17:12according to
17:13the time of
17:14Iftar.
17:15Iftar is
17:16at the same
17:17time as
17:18Sehri.
17:19There will
17:20be a system
17:21of Zakat.
17:22So,
17:23Salah,
17:24Zakat,
17:25fasting,
17:26Hajj
17:27is a
17:28community.
17:29Eid Salah
17:30is also
17:31a community.
17:32We all
17:33remember
17:34Surah Al-Fatihah.
17:35We are in
17:36the community
17:37Salah.
17:38When Imam
17:39is reciting,
17:40we are
17:41listening.
17:42When we
17:43are in
17:44individual
17:45Salah,
17:46we are
17:47reciting.
17:48What is
17:49the translation
17:50of
17:51Iyyaka
17:52Na'abudu?
17:53O Allah,
17:54we worship
17:55only you.
17:56When
17:57Imam
17:58recites,
17:59we
18:00are reciting
18:01Iyyaka
18:02Na'abudu.
18:03What is
18:04the translation
18:05of
18:06Iyyaka
18:07Na'abudu?
18:08O Allah,
18:09we worship
18:10only you.
18:11Allah's
18:12worship
18:13is not
18:14limited
18:15to
18:16one person.
18:17Allah's
18:18worship
18:19is
18:20also
18:21a
18:22community.
18:23So,
18:24Mujahidah,
18:25Jihad,
18:26should not
18:27be limited
18:28to
18:29one person.
18:30Allah's
18:31worship
18:32should

18:59limited
19:00to
19:01one person.
19:02Allah's
19:03worship
19:04should

19:07limited
19:08to
19:09one person.
19:10Allah's
19:11worship
19:12should

19:15limited
19:16to
19:17one person.
19:18Allah's

19:26Allah's
19:27worship
19:28should

19:31limited
19:32to
19:33one person.
19:34Allah's

25:53But this mess that Jihad and Qaital have been declared exactly the same, this concept is not correct.
26:00First of all, when the Prophet did Jihad, he did it by establishing a solid society.
26:06He also gave testimony of his character.
26:08Yes, he gave testimony of his character. If he is not giving testimony of his character, then what can we do?
26:11Now I am saying that we have understood the meaning of Jihad, the meaning of Mujahideen,
26:16we have understood where it will start, we have understood it in the society as well.
26:19However, this topic of Jihad, or this action of Jihad for the sake of Allah,
26:24this effort to fulfil this obligation, this effort to do Jihad,
26:29is this not a negative thing?
26:32Is this not a negative thing?
26:33Yes.
26:34Is this not an optional thing?
26:37This is permissible. If you do it, you do it. If you don't do it, you don't do it.
26:40No, this is necessary for salvation.
26:43This is a very important issue.
26:45Is this necessary for salvation?
26:47Without this, salvation is not possible.
26:49Listen to this in the Holy Quran.
26:51Sometimes Allah commands in the last verse of Surah Al-Hajj, verse 78,
27:02Sometimes Allah says in Surah As-Saf, verses 10 and 11,
27:07Listen to these words.
27:08Say,
27:22What will be the answer?
27:23Is it being told to the Prophet,
27:26that should I tell you that business, which will save you from painful torment?
27:29What will be the answer?
27:30Absolutely, tell me.
27:31And to save yourself from painful torment, is this an optional matter?
27:36Is this an optional matter?
27:38Is this a negative thing?
27:40No, no, this is a necessary thing.
27:42So, what should we do to save ourselves from painful torment?
27:49Should I guide you to that business, which will save you from painful torment?
27:52Absolutely, tell me.
27:53Absolutely, tell me.
28:13Allah is saying, this is better for you.
28:15So, if you do this, you will be saved from painful torment.
28:18Now, can a Muslim say in his mind,
28:20if I feel like it, I will try to save myself.
28:22If I feel like it, I will not do it.
28:24If I feel like it, I will do it.
28:31This is not optional, this is a necessary matter.
28:33So, who doesn't want to be saved from the fire of hell?
28:35If you want to be saved from the fire of hell,
28:37you will have to do this business.
28:38True, firm, true faith,
28:40in the Prophet of Allah,
28:42and this will be manifested in action,
28:44with the title of Jihad,
28:46Jihad to become a servant of Allah,
28:48Jihad to remain obedient to Allah,
28:50Jihad to avoid disobedience to Allah,
28:53Jihad to present the Dawah of Allah's religion,
28:55Jihad to fulfill the duty of Amr Bil Maroof, not Anil Munkar.
28:59If you do all of this,
29:01then you will be saved.
29:03This is not an additional thing,
29:05this is not optional,
29:07this is a must.
29:09We are not here to discuss all of this,
29:13this is a must,
29:15this is a must,
29:17this is a must to be saved.
29:19We have to understand this subject,
29:21that what is the concept of Jihad to be a servant of Allah,
29:23and it is our duty to accomplish this.
29:27And we think that,
29:29we have corrected ourselves,
29:31whatever is happening,
29:33I went to the mosque,
29:35I prayed and came home,
29:37look at the society,
29:39how dirty it is,
29:41I wash my face and come back.
29:43You do a very good job.
29:45I said, it is being uncovered,
29:47turn your face and pass by.
29:49How long will you turn your face and pass by?
29:51He said, you are a righteous person,
29:53your children will turn their faces and pass by.
29:55Your house will not smell of that garbage.
29:57The society that is being ruined,
29:59won't your children go to this society tomorrow?
30:01So the society has not been corrected.
30:03So you have been doing Taqwa all your life,
30:05you have been reciting Tazbih all your life,
30:07you have been sitting on the Mosque all your life,
30:09you have been doing Taqwa all your life,
30:11you have been sitting on the Mosque all your life,
30:13so you have not fulfilled the duty of
30:15Amr Bil Maroof and Nahi Anal Mulkin.
30:17You have not changed the society.
30:19And this Ummah has been established
30:21to fulfill this duty.
30:23No one is doing it.
30:25So where will the Ummah be?
30:27Do it in your society,
30:29leave the other society.
30:31Do it in your sphere of work.
30:33Do it where you have the authority.
30:35And on my sentence,
30:37where will the Ummah be?
30:39If this Amr Bil Maroof
30:41and Nahi Anal Munkar
30:43are not trying to fulfill the duty.
30:45We are obliged to try.
30:47Are you calling it Jihad?
30:49Yes, that is Jihad.
30:51Jihad means Jihad.
30:53So we are not doing it.
30:55So the Ummah has been established for this purpose.
30:57Surah Al Imran, Ayat 110,
30:59we have presented it many times in the previous program.
31:01You are the best Ummah.
31:03But why?
31:05The world will worry for itself
31:07and you have to worry for the world.
31:09The world will live for itself
31:11and you have to live for others.
31:13What does it mean?
31:15You will give the order of the good,
31:17and you will stop them from the bad.
31:19And you believe in Allah.
31:21And you have faith in Allah.
31:23Faith in Allah.
31:25Let us note this.
31:27In the Holy Quran,
31:29faith is mentioned first
31:31and deeds are mentioned later.
31:33Surah Al-Baqarah,
31:35ayat 110,
31:37Surah Al Baqarah,
31:39ayat 110,
31:41In Surah Al-Baqarah,
31:43ayat 110,
31:45Surah Al Baqarah,
31:47ayat 110,
31:49Surah Al Baqarah,
31:51ayat 110,
31:53Surah Al Baqarah,
31:55have already been established.
31:57And you are calling the people to follow you.
31:59And you are calling the people to be good and do good.
32:01You have been blessed for the people, you will give the command of goodness, you will stop evil, you believe in Allah.
32:10In the verse of Khair-e-Ummat, faith is later, action is first.
32:15What does it mean?
32:16If you read the Kalima and sit satisfied, then people have already read the Kalima.
32:20Yes, you read the Kalima of the Prophet, it is a big thing,
32:23but when Noah was alive, his Kalima could have been read.
32:26When Noah was alive, his Kalima could have been read.
32:28So people have already read the Kalima.
32:30Now you too read the Kalima and sit satisfied, what is the wonder in that?
32:33So brother, just by reading the Kalima and being satisfied,
32:37or you have done some individual deeds,
32:40on this basis you are not Khair-e-Ummat.
32:43You will be Khair-e-Ummat when you do the work of Imam-ul-Anbiya,
32:46peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
32:48and you will give the command of goodness, you will stop evil.
32:50You will be Khair-e-Ummat when you do the work of Ummah.
32:53What are we doing today?
32:54What are we doing?
32:55Are we doing this work?
32:56Do we know the condition of the Ummah today?
32:57We are not doing good.
32:58And the last thing in this regard,
33:00the Ummah will be called only those who put their share in doing the work of the Ummah.
33:04This has been written by the commentator.
33:06The Ummah will be called only those who put their share in doing the work of the Ummah.
33:10If they don't do it, then the question of calling it the Ummah is a target.
33:15The common man is satisfied in his own way.
33:18People are satisfied in their own way.
33:21Some people are satisfied in their own way.
33:24They think that they have spent their whole life in the way of Allah.
33:27You have to get a reward for it.
33:28Of course, this is the reward of goodness.
33:30It is a big task to improve yourself.
33:32But who will improve the society?
33:34If I start improving myself,
33:36then who will improve the society?
33:38After improving oneself, it should have an impact on the society.
33:41We are not striving for the society.
33:44And then we complain that the society does not change.
33:47The reason for this is that
33:49we did not play our role in changing the society.
33:53We did not put our share in it.
33:55What is the society?
33:57The basic unit of the society is the house.
34:01And you and I are the people of the house.
34:03So, we are the people of the house.
34:05And the collective of these houses is the society.
34:08Let's do a brief analysis of this.
34:10The Arabic word for the society is Usher.
34:13Usher.
34:14If we say ten,
34:15then technically,
34:17it will become a society.
34:19So, we will improve.
34:20It will start from here.
34:22If the house is strong, then the society will be strong.
34:24The people of our house will go to the society.
34:26If ten people go to the society,
34:28it is possible that five more will change.
34:30It is possible that five more will change.
34:32So, we have to start the Jihad from our house.
34:37Anyway, it is a long discussion.
34:39And to be honest,
34:40I have said this to you with great pain in my heart.
34:43I feel ashamed that I did not contribute.
34:50If I had contributed,
34:51then maybe there would have been some change.
34:53But I did not contribute.
34:55So, let's try to improve each other.
34:58Let's improve ourselves.
34:59Let's give advice to each other.
35:01It is possible that if someone feels this,
35:03and there is a way for change in the society,
35:06then it will be a source of light for all of us.
35:08Anyway, with this,
35:09our time for today's program is coming to an end.
35:12Let me give a Hadith to Mr. Shuaib.
35:13Then we will leave.
35:14The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family,
35:17gave a prayer that
35:19may Allah keep that person happy and contented
35:22who listens to me and
35:24passes it on to others in the same way.
35:26This is the tradition of Jamia Tirmidhi Sharif.
35:28So, what we are trying to convey,
35:30what we are trying to explain,
35:32if we do this,
35:33we will receive the prayer of the Prophet.
35:35It is such a great blessing.
35:36May Allah enable us to do this.
35:37Ameen.
35:38Respected viewers,
35:39with this, our time for today's program has come to an end.
35:41Until the next program,
35:42Mr. Shujauddin Sheikh and his guest,
35:44Dr. Mahmood Ghaznavi,
35:45may I take your leave.
35:46May Allah be with you.
35:47And peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
