00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. stood in front of more than 30 newly promoted generals and officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

00:09This is where the President organized programs and activities to strengthen the Armed Forces.

00:16The President also gave support to the Anti-Terrorism Council and recognized its efforts to fight the terrorist groups.

00:31The safety of every Filipino is one of the priorities and continuous efforts of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:39At the 33rd Anti-Terrorism Council Meeting in Malacanang, the President again gave support to the Anti-Terrorism Council.

00:49The ATC is the main agency that focuses on targeting and suppressing terrorism.

00:55The Executive Board recognized the efforts of the Anti-Terrorism Council to fight the terrorist groups inside and outside the country.

01:04One of the most important activities of the ATC is the Freezing of Assets, or stopping individuals who have links to terrorism,

01:13to use their money and power to destroy the bodies.

01:18In addition to fighting the terrorist groups, the Executive Board is working to address the root of the problem.

01:26Local leaders are being encouraged and young people are being encouraged to have a dialogue to build a united new Philippines.

01:36The Marcos Administration is also working with other countries, such as the United Nations and regional organizations,

01:44to increase the capacity to fight transnational threats.

01:50At the same time of fighting terrorism is the continuous protection of our territory and freedom.

01:57At the inauguration of more than 30 new promoted General and Flag Officers of the Philippine Armed Forces to President Marcos,

02:06the President assured continuous support to the AFP.

02:11The programs and activities that will strengthen the Armed Forces,

02:15such as the Coordination Center of the Philippines and the United States.

02:34The AFP Joint Exercise DAGITPA was added to this.

02:40To equip our forces as they address evolving security threats and operationalize the comprehensive archipelagic defense concept.

03:10President Marcos reminded that this is not only a symbol of their leadership,

03:15but also a reminder of the duty of protecting our country.
