FLORIDA HUMANE
Transcript
00:00Hi Kim! Hi! I'm Kim with Florida Humane Society. We have this beautiful facility
00:07in Pompano Beach and we take dogs in from all kinds of different ways. Some of
00:14them unfortunately are tied to our fence. We pull some from animal control. We take
00:21them from the Everglades. People surrender them because they're moving.
00:26They can't have a dog. So we get them from very many different reasons. This little guy, JP, he came to us and he was constantly kept in a crate because he had too much energy.
00:39So it's very important for us to match the people and the dog and make sure it's a
00:45perfect fit. We love donations of monetary donations, towels, sheets, dog food, cat food,
00:54even medication. Our site is www.FloridaHumaneSociety.org. So we're open Thursday,
01:06Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12 to 4. Come down and see us. Parker came from the Everglades in Miami.
01:13Good boy. Parker you were left as a stray, huh? Yeah.
01:17Parker, are you in love? How does he get along with other dogs?
01:47Bobby eats blankets. Bobby, you eat blankets. Come here, boy. Bobby, how old are you? I don't think Bobby's about three years old. I've got to double check on that.
02:00I took Bobby from the animal control. He was going to be euthanized because he has a neurological problem. He was actually born with part of his brain missing.
02:12But he's fine. He's very sweet. He does circle a lot. He just walks in circles. You can't mess with Bobby's food. But other than that, he's the sweetest boy, right?
02:26Oh, Bobby. So if we have someone, look at that, look at that. He's a sweet boy deserving of a beautiful home with a neurological issue that just makes him go in circles.
02:42He's sweet, buddy. He's super sweet and he will love on you and hopefully he won't. They told me a little bit about Buddy. How was he found? Buddy was tied to the fence and he had a big tumor hanging from his leg that we were able to operate on.
03:06Look at his beautiful ears. He's beautiful and he's sweet as pie, but then we found out he had heartworms. You treated him? We got him straightened out and he's ready to go home.
03:21Okay. Buddy's five? He's five. He's six years old. Six years old. Six years old. Okay.
