Sitting in the lobby

waiting for a guy

came in looking high class

so he caught my eye

Watched him for a little while

then he turned my way

Nodded then came over without delay



Came and sat beside me

The seat next to mine

He said "Pleased to meet you,

Why don't we have some wine?"

Beckoned to the waiter and

Turned around to me

looked at him and wondered

Who this man could be

Making conversation

I had to be discreet

Gotta be real careful

I'm a woman of the street

Said he had a room booked

Should we go upstairs

Yeah OK let's do it

I thought I was prepared



Got up to the bedroom

Then we played around

I could deal with all that

Was familiar ground

Put the money on the side

In the usual way

Thought he was a nice guy

Felt safe enough to stay

I looked on my phone

Saw his picture on there

Said he was well known

Called him Mr Danger

Suddenly felt overcome

By panic and alarm



Got my things together

Ran out of the door

Legs were moving faster

Than they ever had before

As I escaped I could feel

My heart begin to pound

Jumped into the nearest cab

So I was safe and sound
