00:00As part of the commemoration of World AIDS Day Love Gala Night 2024 was held
00:04this evening in Taguig where First Lady Luis Eliza Araneta Marcos and HIV AIDS
00:10Awareness Advocate Miss Universe 2015 at Pia Wurtzbach attended the gala. The
00:15celebration featured some Miss You memorabilia by Pia put up for auction.
00:19All the funds raised will go to the Youth Center to be built in Taguig. The
00:24Health Department will strengthen information dissemination and enhance
00:27treatment protocols against HIV AIDS. According to the DOH the number of
00:32people living with HIV in the country may hit up to 215,400 before the end of
00:38the year and it could increase to 448,000 by 2030 if left unchecked. In the
00:45last DOH record there were more than 40,000 cases of HIV in the Philippines
00:50while more than 400 individuals have been reported dead. The recorded cases of
00:55HIV infection have increased by 10 per day this year from last year's. The
01:00Love Yourself PH Together with the DOH and Philippine National AIDS Council
01:04fully strengthens the U equals U campaign or undetectable equals
01:09untransmittable campaign in response to the continued increase of HIV AIDS
01:14cases in the country.
