00:00I got a call that there was this very very pregnant pity at a shelter who was
00:04about to pop. One night when all the shelter staff went home, Jalula decides
00:11that it's time to have her babies. Seven girls and a boy. My fiance and I just
00:18decided to foster all of them. She was way more shy than we expected and then
00:23she was panting the whole way home. I turned my office into a nursery for her
00:30and her babies and let her get settled in.
00:35She fed them 24-7. I mean it did not stop. The puppies started opening their eyes
00:43and they were exploring non-stop. What happened to you? After a few weeks
00:50Jalula wanted to be with us more than the puppies. She was so tired all the
00:55time. I'd have to carry her to bed. I loved spending our mornings with Jalula
01:01while the puppies were still passed out. After about five weeks finally Jalula
01:07was done nursing. Now she could just play with them and be a dog. Eventually we
01:13knew they were all ready to find their forever homes but the hardest part was
01:17saying goodbye to Jalula. I was so proud of her and she got the perfect family
01:23and just like that she was gone and that's the thing with fostering. Even
01:28though it never gets easier saying goodbye I just can't wait to do it all
01:33over again.
