00:00The poll body just kicked off its nationwide tutorial tour to demonstrate the nuances of
00:05physically casting a legitimate and readable ballot on decision day in May next year.
00:10The voting routine has its new variations, and the ballot-counting machines will use
00:15new technology, unlike the outdated one used in previous polls beginning in May of 2022

00:24But the Kamelec cautions the electorate and public to be extra careful in handling their

00:31A slight tear, water droplet, or crumple could put one's ballot at risk of not being read

00:39The vote-counting machine is sensitive to any drastic changes to the surface of the
00:44paper ballot.
00:45It might fail to recognize or outright reject any ballots with defaced surfaces.
