Police are appealing for witnesses who might have information about a suspected double murder in Sydney's west. Officers were called to a burger shop in Cambridge Park this morning after a family member discovered the bodies of a man and a woman aged in their 60s.

00:10Police were called to the shop on Oxford Street in Cambridge Park near Penrith this morning
00:15around 9.40am after receiving reports of an assault.
00:19Police say a family member discovered the two bodies and called triple zero.
00:23They found the bodies of a man and a woman believed to be in their 60s.
00:27They have not been formally identified but locals say the couple owned the Buzzy Bees
00:32Burger House on that strip and they were there for more than two decades.
00:36They were well known within the community.
00:39Police have launched an intensive investigation which is ongoing and they gave us an update
