00:00From the Philippine News Agency, the National Anti-Poverty Commission thanked the Indonesian government
00:07for its decision to transfer Mary Jane Veloso from the Philippines to jail.
00:13However, Veloso was arrested in Indonesia in 2010
00:17because she was involved in an illegal drug case and was charged with death penalty.
00:23NAPC believes that Veloso is just a victim of human trafficking.
00:27NAPC also thanked former President Noynoy Aquino
00:30because he became an instrument to prevent the continuation of Veloso's release.
00:35NAPC hopes that Veloso will be granted presidential clemency during Christmas.
00:41Indonesian President Prabowo Sobyanto was the first to agree to transfer Veloso to the Philippines
00:46where he will finish his sentence.
