00:00While the return of Mary Jane Veloso to the country is being awaited,

00:04help for her family in Nueva Ecija is starting to arrive,

00:08including the scholarship grant from TESDA.

00:11Camille Nagano of PIA Central Luzon has news for the country.

00:17Help for the family of Mary Jane Veloso in Nueva Ecija is starting to arrive,

00:23including the scholarship of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority

00:29and TESDA for the free education and training of her children, nieces, and other relatives.

00:35TESDA's personnel, Provincial Director Alvin Itoralde,

00:39brought the Certificate of Scholarship Commitment

00:41to the home of the Veloso family in the town of General Mamerto Natividad.

00:46In TESDA, aside from the free training materials,

00:50free matriculation, because we are not being paid for that,

00:57we also have an allowance per day that we give to them.

01:01So we have P160 per day that we give.

01:04TESDA's free training depends on what the beneficiaries want to learn.

01:10Some of the courses that are being accepted are metal arc welding,

01:14driving, cookery, bread and pastry production, food and beverage services,

01:20and programs that are related to tourism and others.

01:24It's a big help to my family, especially to the beneficiaries,

01:30because with their help, Darin will be able to finish her studies.

01:35Aside from the help from TESDA,

01:37the Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Haktak also personally came here

01:43to learn about the needs of the Veloso family.

01:46The OFW Partylist,

01:49the office of Nueva Ecija Third District Representative Congresswoman Rosana Vercara,

01:54and the local government of General Mamerto Natividad.
