00:00Actress and businesswoman Nery Naig Miranda asked the court to clear the cases filed against her by Oscar Oida.

00:14The actress and businesswoman, Neryza Nery Naig Miranda, was arrested while returning from Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory.

00:24She was just returning from Pasay Regional Trial Court, where she was charged with arraignment of the case of violation of the Securities Regulation Code or RA 8799.

00:34But when we asked the staff of RTC Branch 111, the arraignment was not carried out and the case was adjourned on January 9 after the motion to quash Nery's case was filed.

00:46The Court of Commencement ordered the prosecution and the SEC to carry out the motion.

00:53Nery's camp refused to give a permit.

00:56Nery was arrested by the Southern Police District on Saturday.

01:01In the social media post of Nery's wife and Edgar Frontman's wife, Chito Miranda,

01:07He said that Nery never cheated on her or took money from anyone.

01:17According to Chito, Nery is just an endorser and he uses his face to get money from investors.

01:25And he is the one who was charged by the victims.

01:28The husband was suddenly arrested even though he did not give any warning that there is a new criminal complaint.

01:34Chito said that there are similar cases that were first filed against Nery but were dismissed.

01:42In the same post, Chito said that Nery did not take money from other people and went to a chanda owned by Dermacare.

01:54Chito also posted a letter from a chanda in Atienza addressed to Nery but there is no stamp and no signature.

02:04According to the letter, the chanda asked for Nery's signature on the issues faced by Dermacare.

02:12In particular, the lack of ability to distribute shares to their investors.

02:18In addition to the letter, Nery hoped to remain neutral in the middle of the issue.

02:24In the advisory of the Securities and Exchange Commission in September 2023,

02:29a chanda in Atienza was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Dermacare Beyond Skin Care Solutions.

02:37The company is lying to the public that it will invest money in exchange for profit and other benefits.

02:45The SEC said that the company is not authorized to solicit investment because it is not registered and has no license to sell securities.

02:56In the same advisory, the commission also said that salesmen, brokers, dealers, agents, promoters, influencers, and endorsers of Dermacare may be accused.

03:08In a Facebook post on September 1, 2023, Nery announced that he is no longer affiliated or has no affiliation with Dermacare.

03:17And any transaction using his name is not authorized or made without his permission.

03:25The GMA Integrated News is still trying to find Atienza to get his statement.
