00:00When I got my first motorbike I thought, yeah this is going to be fun. I reckoned I was
00:12going to turn pro when I was older. Me and my mates used to go riding on the park. Some
00:18of them had bikes too. Some had quads. It was just something fun to do. We didn't think
00:25we were causing any problems. But you need permission wherever you're riding from the
00:30person that owns the land. And if you don't get that in writing, you can get in real trouble.
00:37It doesn't matter if you're on a playground, football pitch or golf course. If you're riding
00:43your motorbike or quad where you're not supposed to, police might get involved. We started
00:49going to places where there were no people, like old quarries or pit sites. But that was
00:55risky too and we had to break the fence to get in. Some people I knew started riding through
01:01the town centre, wearing ski masks and getting into worse things. But that wasn't for me. I
01:07just wanted to be on my motorbike with my friends, having a laugh. Now I go to one of the local
01:14purpose-built tracks. It's safe, we're not damaging anybody's property or worrying people
01:20with kids or dogs. And it makes more sense than going to a farmer's field and harming any animals
01:27or crops growing. By making the right choices now, we can enjoy ourselves safely and legally,
01:34with much less chance of anyone getting hurt. And there's no danger of the police taking our
01:40wheels. If that happens, you might get a criminal record or a driving ban. That means it's tougher
01:47to get insured on a car or bike in the future, which makes it harder to get some jobs. It's not
01:54worth the risk. All I want to do is ride with my mates, no stress. Do it safely and do it right.
