00:00Another exclusive, a grocery store in Manila stole more than half a million pesos in cash.

00:06The suspect is a former employee who was caught sneaking into an online casino.

00:19You would think that this man is an employee who went out of a closed grocery store in Tondo, Manila.

00:26But the man was actually a thief, according to the police.

00:31He was holding a paper bag with more than half a million pesos in it

00:37that he hid in the vault of the grocery store.

00:40Based on the investigation, the suspect wore a uniform and sneaked into the store.

00:47He went to the back and hid in a trash bag.

00:52When no one was there, the store was already closed.

00:55He started to steal until he got the tools.

01:02It was also checked that he saw the key of the vault

01:05so he easily opened it and stole the contents of the vault.

01:09The next day, the employees found out what happened.

01:13Based on the backtracking and investigation by the police,

01:16the suspect learned that he was a former employee of the grocery store.

01:22Accordingly, he was removed because he had a problem with the money he was holding.

01:31He had a shortage of money.

01:34In a follow-up operation,

01:36he was found by the police in his house in Luhalhati Street, Tondo.

01:40He got his money back, but it was already deducted.

01:45According to the police, the suspect already deposited it in an online casino.

01:50He already deposited some money.

01:54When we checked his transaction,

01:57he deposited P25,000, P19,000.

02:01The lowest I saw was P6,000.

02:05The suspect also got the black box of the CCTV inside the store

02:09and some tools that he also stole inside the grocery store.

02:13The suspect is currently in the custody of the MPD facing a robbery complaint.
