00:00The Lombardy region has immediately married this project of North Railway in Milan.
00:09The idea is to expand this community more and more, the Lombardy community,
00:13and to make it more and more interconnected,
00:15so that even those that today are defined as peripheral spaces,
00:19actually become more and more central.
00:22It has participated with a large funding of 150 million euros,
00:27together with the private sector, which is worth many times the public funding,
00:32will allow the realization of this project,
00:34which is a project that takes root in many territories,
00:36that affects many communities,
00:38with a single goal, that of re-sewing these communities,
00:41and this unity of the communities and those who live there,
00:46by giving everyone the same opportunity,
00:48both those who are in central Milan,
00:50and those who are outside the capital of Lombardy,
00:56and, for example, especially with a view to Malpensa,
01:00which is the gateway to the world in Italy.
01:02Infrastructures are increasingly the skeleton of our Italy,
01:08but even more so than our Lombardy,
01:10and it is the reason why Lombardy is increasingly hungry for infrastructure,
01:13even though it is a region that is objectively already quite infrastructured.
01:17In reality, the territories to grow need this skeleton,
01:20of the infrastructures made in a modern way,
01:24therefore in a much more sustainable way than they thought in the past,
01:29and they need these infrastructures to be able to connect and live in these territories,
01:33and from there the idea of the nervous system kept up by the infrastructures.
01:37In short, a new way of thinking about infrastructures,
01:41which are not just a pile of cement,
01:44which obviously no one likes anymore.
