Armed Forces to remain 'loyal, professional, non-partisan'

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), particularly its enlisted personnel, will remain loyal, professional and non-partisan amid the brazen calls of former president Rodrigo Duterte to launch a coup against the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., AFP Sgt. Maj. FCMS Feliciano M. Lazo says on Nov. 27, 2024. The military experienced instances where they were used for partisan purposes which had a negative impact on their careers and families, Lazo said.
