00:00In the last reading of the Senate, more than 6.3 trillion pesos were allocated to the national budget for the next year.

00:07Eighteen senators voted in favor of the 2025 proposed national budget.

00:22Senate Committee on Finance Chairperson Senator Grace Poe said that they followed their promises.

00:29Every decision was made, every fund was assured to have the right purpose.

00:35You were able to form a humane, fair, and balanced budget.

00:41When it comes to the hot topic of the budget, such as the Office of the Vice President,

00:46as well as the assistance to the Kaposang Kita Program or ACAP,

00:50Poe said that this will be known to the Bicameral Conference Committee.

00:54For now, the budget of the OVP will remain at the level of the General Appropriations Bill,

01:00while the ACAP is at the level of the National Expenditure Program.

01:04Congressmen will need to consult on these two items in the budget.

01:10The senator assured that the budget is sufficient for health, education, livelihood, agriculture, tourism, disaster, and housing.
