00:00The Department of Justice, or DOJ, will investigate the statements made by former President Rodrigo Duterte
00:07that is allegedly encouraging the military to withdraw support to the Marx administration.
00:12According to Radyo Pilipinas' report, Justice Undersecretary Jesse Andres said
00:17it's possible the former president will face a charge of sedition in relation to his pronouncements.
00:24There is no such thing as a fractured governance, whatever that means, coming from the former president.
00:32And the military has no role whatsoever in civil governance except to protect the people.
00:41There is no remedy that can possibly come from the military because our courts are functioning.
00:49If there is any legal remedy they need to exhaust. The judicial and legal processes are available.
00:57I do not know where the president is coming from, but a solution can be coming from the military.
