00:00So basically I've been running a pub in Crover for the last six and a half years, we were
00:05looking to expand. My mum lives down in Bexhill so we spent a lot of time down here, dining,
00:13socialising and this popped up online and the building is just fantastic. You've got
00:19this lovely bar here, we've made a galley kitchen in the back so we can get up and running
00:24straight away. Upstairs there's going to be a gorgeous dining room that overlooks onto
00:29the road that Rock and Coral will be launching in the new year. It's going to be small plates,
00:35everything's local produce using local suppliers. We are so passionate about food and what we
00:40do and we can't wait to introduce it to everyone in Bexhill. So my husband Jordan, he's got
00:46a fantastic background in the catering industry as well. He's been helping me launch the menu
00:51at the Blue Anchor in Crover, working for different places in the area. Will, our sous
00:56chef, is going to be head chef here as well. He's been working at the Beacon, he's worked
00:59for me for years in the past as well. So it's nice having a team that's not more than a
01:04team, it's a family environment here. One of the biggest things we've done in Crover
01:08is make the pub a family. From the staff to the locals, I've got to know it isn't just
01:13a pub, you're part of someone's group as well now, whether you're their extra grandchild,
01:19daughter, it's nice to be included in them, included in our lives and that's definitely
01:23something we want to bring down here, being part of the community. All are welcome, dogs,
01:29children, it's so important that we can bring our furry friends and children along to experience
01:35that nice community feel in a pub these days.
