Nakatanggap ng reklamo ang Korte Suprema tungkol sa pahayag ni Vice President Sara Duterte na huhukayin nito ang labi ni dating pangulong Ferdinand Marcos. Bukod diyan, may nakabinbin pa palang disbarment case laban sa bise dahil sa pananapak nito sa isang Davao City sheriff noong 2011.

00:05that it is insulting the former President Ferdinand Marcos.

00:08Aside from that, there is still a pending dismarkment case against the vice president

00:13because of his assault on a Davao City Sheriff in 2011.

00:20The Supreme Court has received a complaint regarding the statement of Vice President Sara Duterte

00:30that it is insulting the former President Ferdinand Marcos.

00:46The Supreme Court said it is anonymous or there is no name in the complaint.

00:50Just this month, the Supreme Court received an anonymous complaint regarding her statements

00:57about the late President Ferdinand Marcos.

01:02And how has the Supreme Court acted on that anonymous complaint?

01:07There's no action yet at the moment.

01:09The Supreme Court also said that there is still a pending disbarment case against Duterte.

01:14It was filed in 2011, when VP Sara was still the mayor of Davao.

01:19This is related to her assault on Davao City Sheriff Abbe Andres

01:23who is issuing a demolition order against the informal settlers of the city.

02:40aside from filing a disbarment complaint to the Supreme Court or the Integrated Bar of the Philippines,

02:46the Supreme Court can also use its own motto or its own actions to judge the actions of a lawyer.

02:53That's why the Supreme Court also asked if it has any action to do with the new statements issued by VP Sara to President Marcos.

03:02It's always possible that the Supreme Court can take cognizance of anything that's publicly known.

03:07But usually, it's usually by a complaint.
