00:00The House Good Government Committee extends Vice President Sara Duterte's Chief of Staff
00:06Zulaica Lopez's contempt citation and detention for five more days.
00:11This after Lopez did not appear before the committee on Monday after sending an excuse
00:15letter.
00:16It remains unclear whether Lopez will serve the extension at the Veterans Memorial Medical
00:20Center, where she has been since Saturday, or at the House Detention Facility.
00:24Meantime, Duterte says Lopez expressed her desire to quit after being deeply traumatized
00:29in the House Detention Facility.
00:31On Friday night, the House Committee ordered the transfer of Lopez to the Women's Correctional
00:35Facility, which she refused to comply with.
00:38She then had a panic attack.
00:40She was initially brought to VMMC but was transferred to St. Luke's Medical Center
00:44in Quezon City.
00:46Lopez was brought back to VMMC after her condition stabilized.
