Penguin: DC Finally explains Batman's absence in the Series.

After the success of The Batman, DC and Warner bet on a Penguin series for HBO, which is also proving to be a great success.

With the return of actor Colin Farrell to the role of the Penguin, the HBO production proved to be both a critical and public success, achieving good audience numbers.

However, something that didn't please fans was the complete absence of Batman while Gotham waged war. Not even more impactful mentions occurred during the series.

Therefore, now Matt Reeves, producer of the Penguin series and director of the Batman film, has tried to explain the hero's absence in the plot:

This was a moment of great turmoil in the city, it was literally the week after what happened. Much of the city is in despair, so the police can't get everywhere, there is crime everywhere, it's a very, very dangerous time. Batman is out there trying to deal with the consequences of everything that happened, which, to some extent, he blames himself for.

If you follow me and comment "PENGUIN" I'll answer a fun fact about the character for you.
