00:00It is believed that up to 2,000 families were affected by the huge fire that broke out in Isla Puting Bato in Tondo, Manila this morning.

00:09This is what Vell Custodio reported.

00:14The fire spread to 1,000 houses in Isla Puting Bato.

00:19The fire was lifted by Task Force Charlie due to the rapid spread of the fire.

00:24Most of the houses were made of light materials.

00:27It was accompanied by wind, so the fire spread to five villages in Barangay 20.

00:33Helicopters from the Philippine Air Force arrived one after another to bring water to the burning houses.

00:40Fire trucks from the Bureau of Fire Protection from the entire Metro Manila were also fully forced to help with the fire.

00:47Ambulances, rubber boats, and the Philippine National Police were also dispatched to respond to the fire.

00:54According to the BFP, it was difficult for the fire trucks to enter because of the narrow streets.

01:00In addition to the difficulty of identifying the residents who were running around in the corners,

01:06their belongings were scattered.

01:08That is why the BFP and the fire volunteers went to the side of the container terminal to get closer to the burning houses.

02:35At the Delpan Sports Complex, other evacuees were being evacuated.

02:39The BFP also reported the total damage to the building.
