00:00What do you think about the last financial year?
00:04The last financial year has also had some interesting things.
00:10For example, the confirmation of the IRPEF's fiscal union.
00:14But I have to say that it has not taken into consideration what we call the middle class.
00:19That is, the class of those people who contribute the most to the welfare of this country and to support this country.
00:26Objectively, we must know or we must remember that 75% of the IRPEF is supported by just over 10 million contributors.
00:37And the people who earn today or declare 55,000 euros are no more than 5% of the Italian population.
00:45And they support more than 42% of the tax burden.
00:50This seems to me to be a sign of how the financial sector should have intervened in this direction.
00:56Of course, we are no longer a financial sector oriented to reassure the financial markets.
01:02But on the structural level, on the level of the people we represent, of the associations we represent, of the Italian leaders, frankly, it seems to us that we have not taken enough load.
01:14But certainly the class of our associates within the companies is a fundamental element.
01:22But it cannot remain only a fundamental element within the companies.
01:25It can certainly contribute to the development of the country.
01:29If we think, for example, of the needs that the PNAR for the landing of this important resource,
01:37which the country may have in need of skills, we could certainly be useful in this direction.
01:43In particular, however, the managers of Italy, our leaders, must and can support, above all, the small and medium-sized enterprises,
01:51which are still lacking compared to other countries in terms of managerial capacity.
01:55The managerial capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises means supporting the country's economy, because we know that this represents a large share of our economy.
