00:02Well on the whole quite well and we live right at the north of Sheffield and we've managed to get

00:07in for the last two or three days into town so yeah the buses have run I think just for a couple

00:13of hours when it was really bad then obviously the buses couldn't get to where we live right

00:18at the top but apart from that okay. How do you feel Sheffield copes in the snow?

00:24All right for what we've seen so far but I think it could be a lot better

00:28maybe gritting more you know dealing with it better than they have or could have done.

00:35Do you think Sheffield copes okay in the snow?

00:38No, no not at all. I think everything comes to a standstill.

00:41What do we need to do better?

00:45More grit bins, gritters are more.

00:50And being prepared I think because we know what happens.

00:53Just the smallest amount.

00:56It seems like everything comes to a stop, schools shut.

01:02Other countries seem to cope with it much better than us.

01:09Do you think Sheffield copes okay in the snow?

01:12No, no definitely not. It grinds to a halt. It's a hilly city.

01:18Very hilly city but we just can't, we don't seem to cope with it.

01:21We used to be able to. I know that sounds old but we used to cope better.

01:26Yeah I don't know why it is. I mean like obviously generally you get warning for it but

01:35there was no need at all. I just think we just yeah don't cope well, no.
