00:00But why don't we start, though, with Russell Wilson here, Scotty?
00:07Because tomorrow we have our Weekly Words of Wisdom from Mike Tomlin.
00:12Today, it's our Russell Wilson, are the Steelers a Super Bowl contender conversation?
00:20Let's see what Russ thinks.
00:21Yeah, I mean, I definitely think so that we have a chance.
00:24You know, I think the biggest thing for us is continuing to just take each week as the
00:28most important week of it all, you know, and I think that it's not really even just
00:32the week.
00:33It's just the day.
00:34It's just the moments in between.
00:35I think the greatest teams, the greatest players in any sport, especially the teams I've been
00:40on is the moment is never too far away.
00:44It's right here, right now.
00:45And you're just locked into that and you're obsessed over that and you enjoy that part
00:49and you embrace that part and you love that part of it because, you know, you never know
00:53what tomorrow holds.
00:54And I really believe that.
00:55We just have to stay focused on the moment.
00:57And I think when we get to do it as a collective team effort with these guys that we have,
01:01the fundamentals, the focus, the details of the guys we have, the passion and our fan
01:06base as well.
01:07It makes it that much more fun.
01:09I think he's just like, you know, it's boring listening to him.
01:13I just want to watch him play.
01:14I don't need to hear from him.
01:16Well, I think that he wants everyone.
01:19There's a couple of things with Russ, and this has always been a problem with him.
01:22I think he wants everyone to, A, he wants everyone to like him.
01:27He doesn't want anybody to not like him.
01:29He needs to be loved by everybody.
01:31He needs to be like, oh, you're the best, Russ.
01:33We love you, Russ.
01:34He loves that stuff.
01:35And number two, he wants everybody to think that he's this supreme leader.
01:40Like he's the guy, I'm the leader of the team.
01:43But like, that's how he talks.
01:45Like he gets into like these, you know, we got, we just got to go out and do this.
01:49And we, you know, we're together as a team.
01:51It's all nonsense.
01:52And I think he felt like his rep took a hit in Denver over those couple of years.
01:58So now that he's got, he's playing well with the Steelers, it's like, he's got to like
02:03try to re-stamp what he had in Seattle.
02:05Like I'm this big leader and I, I think that's what he likes to do.
02:08He wants to be loved by everybody and be a leader.
02:11I think he's trying to emulate Tomlin.
02:13He sounds like Mike, he's been around him now and he, I think he tries to copy him and
02:19it's not working.
02:21I thought the clip we played of him last week before the Raven game, well, you could
02:26have, you could, that, that was almost word for word, like a Tomlin quote that he was
02:31giving out.
02:32So I think he's trying to regurgitate some of the Tomlin stuff and just kind of put it
02:37out there as his own show, showing Mike that he's following his playbook and that he's
02:42listening to what he's saying.
02:44Like I really feel like Russ does things like that.
