00:00The Philippine ambassador to the U.S. once again urged the Filipinos who are illegally staying in America to go home first.

00:08This is in line with the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's ambitious plan to deport unauthorized immigrants.

00:18On day one, I will launch the largest deportation program of criminals in American history.

00:26This campaign promise of the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is being planned for now,

00:32a few months before his second term in office on January 20, 2025.

00:38To do that, Trump announced that Tom Homan will be the border czar

00:43who was the acting director of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, of his first administration.

00:50Trump also said that he will use the U.S. military to implement the national emergency declaration.

00:58According to the U.S. Homeland Security, founded by GMA News Research,

01:02the Philippines is the 5th country with the largest number of unauthorized immigrants in America, estimated at 300,000.

01:09But if the Philippine Ambassador to the U.S., Jose Manuel Romualdez, will ask

01:14if you are illegally staying in America, it is better to leave now instead of being accused of deportation.

01:21This time, this is really serious because the number of people coming to America is high.

01:31That's why President Trump won.

01:34Because that's their main issue. There are too many illegal immigrants coming to the U.S. now.

01:41Romualdez explained that if a person is deported, whether small or not,

01:46there is no chance that he will ever return to America,

01:49unless he leaves now and applies to enter the U.S. legally again.

01:55Our advice to our countrymen is that if you really don't have a chance to get a status while you are in America,

02:02go ahead and apply and you have a better than even chance.

02:12Trump's first term was in the Philippines in 3500, and he was deported from 2017 to 2020.
