00:00reviewing their season so far in the championship, of course, as you said, they're 29 points
00:07sat just a couple of points off some Treffield United in third place in the championship.
00:12Yeah, there's been some good results. It's fair to say, you know, obviously beating Sheffield
00:16United's quite comfortably team who are, of course, already above them. Then you've got
00:20the loss against Burnley at home. That wasn't great loss of Millwall. Look at the opening
00:24day against Portsmouth at 3-3 and then, of course, the madness of Sunderland that night
00:31when you probably were nailed on for three points and that doesn't happen. So there have
00:36been some good wins. I've probably not mentioned enough wins there, actually, to be fair. I've
00:39only mentioned one and I've mentioned more of the bad ones. But regardless, though, it's
00:42been a season of ups and downs and yet here we are a point better off than they were last
00:49season. So is it fair to say it's been better than expected or worse than expected?
00:56It's hard to say, really. I don't know about better or worse than expected. I just think
01:00it's sort of like there's been too many games where they haven't got the result that the
01:04performance warranted. But, I mean, that doesn't really matter, really, because all that matters
01:07is the score, you know, at the end of the day and stuff. But, I mean, I think you've
01:10summarised it pretty well there in terms of the standouts. I mean, the Sheffield United
01:13victory was obviously fantastic. They played very, very well in that game. And, you know,
01:17that's the thing where you look at that game and think like almost like how much there
01:20were between the two sides that you think, well, if Leeds can play and obviously Sheffield
01:23United are sort of second favourites for the title, realistically. I mean, I know Sunderland
01:26are top, but I mean, on goal difference, but Sheffield United are clear second favourites.
01:30And you sort of think if there's that much between the two teams in that game, then they
01:33realistically should be going up and they should be going up as champions, you know,
01:36but obviously it's repeating that on a consistent basis. And that's probably one of the things.
01:40I think one of the themes has been consistency a little bit, you know, and stuff in terms
01:44of like obviously the results as well, maybe more so than the performances. Also finishing,
01:50I mean, that's something we've talked about, you know, for however long on these shows,
01:53not just under Daniel Farker, but also under Marcelo, you know, there's been too many games
01:58where they've missed too many chances. But for that, then obviously they would have left
02:01with more points than they would have got. But yeah, I mean, as I say, I think a solid
02:07start is how I would say it, but a solid start that just could have been a little bit better.
02:12You talked about two defeats, obviously they have only lost two games, which is pretty good
02:16at this stage of the season. That said, I think it's the entire top five have only lost two as
02:21well. So what that tells you is, is basically there's been too many draws with Leeds and
02:26that's definitely true. I mean, you talked about the first game of the season. That's one that,
02:30I mean, you know, whatever the stats were, it's a game that they should have won all day long,
02:34but they didn't. Obviously the madness of the 3-3 draw, the Sunderland one, you know,
02:37I mean, still beggars belief now. Yeah, I can still sort of like, you know,
02:41remembering like it was yesterday, sort of like the looks we all gave each other when that goal
02:45went in at the end. I mean, that would have been another two points. That would have been very
02:47different if they'd have got them two points, obviously then the two points are at the table
02:50and the joint tops, aren't they? So same with the Portsmouth game. Disappointing defeats,
02:55obviously, like the Millwall one.
