00:00Nearly one thousand days since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Washington has allegedly
00:10authorized the use of U.S.-provided attackers for the strikes deep into Russia.
00:16What difference would it make and what targets can Kyiv strike now?
00:20The Institute for the Study of War states that the partial lifting of restrictions on
00:24Ukraine's use of Western-provided long-range weapons against military objects within Kursk
00:30region only will not completely deprive Russian forces of their sanctuary in Russian territory,
00:35as hundreds of military objects remain within ATO camp's range in other Russian border regions.
00:42In the end of August, the think tank released this map of known military and paramilitary
00:47objects in Russia which Ukraine can strike.
00:51This line right here shows the maximum range of Ukrainian ATO camps, especially the 300
00:58km variant.
00:59There are at least 245 of known Russian military and paramilitary objects here in this range.
01:07Out of this total number, there are only 16 air bases from where Russia has moved almost
01:12all of its aircrafts.
01:14At least 225 known objects remained in range of ATO camps, with at least 15 being in the
01:20region of Kursk.
01:22By the end of August, there were also at least 11 sites, here known as Russian military
01:27land use, areas designated for military training and testing purposes.
01:32But these estimates were made before over 10,000 North Korean soldiers have been deployed
01:37to this area.
01:38The Institute for the Study of War continues to assess that Russian forces will benefit
01:42from any partial sanctuary if Western states continue to impose restrictions on Ukraine's
01:48ability to defend itself and that the US should allow Ukraine to strike all legitimate military
01:54targets within Russia's operational and deep rear, within range of US-provided weapons,
02:00not just those in Kursk region.
