00:00Good morning, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Monday, November the 18th,
00:05bringing you some of our top stories this morning and it's a rather chilly one. I had
00:10to defrost my car this morning, so yeah, they were right about that arctic black star, right?
00:16So first of all, we've got some really, really good news that came out on Saturday. Three
00:20neighbours in Mexborough have all shared a £1 million prize that they won in the People's
00:27Postcode Lottery. That's just brilliant timing for Christmas. You can read all about the
00:33families involved there and what they plan on doing with their little Christmas festive
00:39haul. So that's on the website already today. Then we had one that came out on Saturday
00:45from the police, really, really unpleasant. They've received 13 reports of dangerous dogs
00:51in 48 hours across the county. There are two specific cases that they mentioned there in
00:56Sheffield, but these 13 reports do relate to cases right across South Yorkshire. Quite
01:03disturbing. There are some graphic images there, just if you're a bit squeamish, just
01:08to be warned about that. But that's at the top of our website at the moment for you.
01:13And then some other good news. The Mayor of Doncaster unveiled the revamped Corn Exchange
01:18building back end of last week. That follows the £5 million regeneration of the historic
01:25building. So yeah, you can read about that this morning as well. And there's lots of
01:30details about what they've done. And it does look really impressive, actually. So for any
01:37of those stories and for anything else that's happening in the city today, just visit www.doncaster.co.uk
01:44or, of course, Facebook and X. And get wrapped up and have a lovely Monday.
