00:00This is the latest update for Super Typhoon Pepito.
00:06Earlier this afternoon, Pepito landed in Dipakulaw, Aurora.
00:13It is currently in the vicinity of Tipunan, Quirino.
00:18It is carrying a strong wind of 185 kmph and a torrent of up to 305 kmph.
00:26It is moving in the direction of Hilagang, Kanluran in a speed of 25 kmph.
00:31We can see in our satellite image that a large part of Luzon is affected by Super Typhoon Pepito.
00:39That is why we still have areas under stormy weather conditions or even rains with gusty winds.
00:46This is the radar image of the landfall of Pepito in May, Aurora.
00:56And because of Super Typhoon Pepito, we have a high signal number 5 in the central portion of Aurora,
01:06southern portion of Quirino and southern portion of Nueva Vizcaya.
01:11Meanwhile, signal number 4 in the southern part of Aurora, southern part of Nueva Vizcaya,

02:53This is the latest track that we are monitoring, Super Typhoon Pepito.
02:59So we are expecting that it will cross the northern portion of Central Luzon
03:05and will come out of the landmass of mainland Luzon tonight or tomorrow morning.
03:10So we can see that it is possible that this will become a typhoon category,
03:15Super Typhoon Pepito coming out of the landmass of Luzon.
03:20And it is also possible that Pepito will come out of our Philippine Area of Responsibility by tomorrow morning or noon.
03:29We also released a weather advisory on Pepito,
03:33where it is possible that there will be more than 200 mm of rain or intense to torrential rains in Aurora,
03:40Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao and Pangasinan.
03:43So what are we expecting when it is intense to torrential rains?
03:47So widespread incidents of severe flooding and landslide are expected.
03:52Heavy to intense rains, 100 to 200 mm of rain in Isabela, Calinga, Mountain Province,
03:58Abra, La Union, Benguet, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Bulacan, here in Rizal and also in Quezon.
04:07If heavy to intense to torrential rains, numerous flooding events likely,
04:11especially in urbanized, low-lying or near rivers.

04:21While moderate to heavy, 50 to 100 mm of rain, we expect in Ilocos Sur, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Metro Manila and Laguna.
