00:16Starting November 19, tolls on SC-TEX will increase.

00:1964 centavos per kilometer for Class 1 vehicles,

00:231 peso and 29 centavos for Class 2,

00:27and 1 peso and 93 centavos for Class 3 vehicles.

00:31Class 1 vehicles traveling from Mabalacat City to Tarlac will pay an additional 25 pesos,

00:3850 pesos for Class 2, and 75 pesos for Class 3.

00:42Those traveling through Mabalacat City, Tipo, Hermosa, Bataan near Subic Freeport

00:49will pay an additional 41 pesos, 81 pesos, and 121 pesos for Class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles.

00:57According to the Toll Regulatory Board, this is part of the approved periodic adjustment of SC-TEX

01:02that was supposed to be implemented in 2021 and 2023,

01:06but it was postponed and reduced to three tranches.

01:09To maintain the viability of their expressways here at SC-TEX,

01:17every two years, they are allowed to seek for adjustment based on their formula

01:24that is included in our agreement with SC-TEX.

01:27You know, that will add additional cost for us.

01:31It's a bit heavy in our pockets right now.

01:33Because of the current living expenses, they should not increase it first.

01:39On November 20, there will also be an increase in the toll of Montinlupa-Cavite Expressway or MCX.

01:45That's why the new toll for Class 1 will be 22 pesos, 43 pesos for Class 2, and 65 pesos for Class 3.
