00:00The first step is artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence, and human development
00:09to facilitate the development of the country's economy.
00:12Artificial intelligence is expected to play an important role in ensuring the success
00:18of the Selangor economy in the future.
00:21The advancement of AI technology offers a great opportunity for increasing productivity,
00:26improving public services, and promoting innovation in the main sectors.
00:32AI is expected to have a major impact on the Selangor manufacturing sector,
00:36especially in maximizing the export process,
00:39improving supply chain management, and improving product quality.
00:45That is precisely why the Selangor state government is taking immediate action,
00:50not only to anticipate,
00:52but also to outline understanding guidelines.
00:56The development of business framework technology
01:01will ultimately benefit the people of this country,
01:05while increasing the competitiveness of the Selangor industry in the global market.
01:10In addition, the Selangor manufacturing sector will also benefit from the integration of AI
01:15in areas such as health care, education, and financial services.
01:21AI-enabled solutions can simplify operations, reduce uncertainty,
01:27and increase the effort to make decisions in the public and private sectors.
01:33The Selangor state government has always been ambitious
01:34to make this country the main region in the manufacturing intelligence sector.
01:39As the title of an important article written by eight Google employees,
01:45Attention is All You Need,
01:47the Selangor state government will ensure such attention and commitment
01:51to the development of artificial intelligence or AI.
01:56One interesting thing about the article I mentioned,
02:00out of the eight authors of the article,
02:02six were born outside the United States of America,
02:06while two were children of immigrants.
02:08This is proof that prosperity is strength.
02:12I am confident that Selangor, as a prosperous and advanced country,
02:15also has the strength to emerge as a Bay Area and Silicon Valley
02:22in San Francisco and Bangalore in India.
02:26Selangor enters the A.I. gate or A.I. Tri-Blazer.
02:31This principal program is a special initiative
02:34for AI-enabled applications in the context of applied technology applications
02:39in the administration system, financial management, business management,
02:43and also to provide pressure to the existing system integration.
02:47The program will be managed with cooperation with Google
02:51through Gemini products,
02:53bringing the concept of the solution of the industry and management at the same time
02:57with the main objective of producing manufacturing intelligence products.
03:02The program will be managed in the Sandbox concept
03:05with a program duration of eight weeks
03:08with the participation of 50 participants representing the main sectors
03:12of the administration and industry of Selangor.
03:15The Google A.I. Tri-Blazer program,
03:18which is known as the A.I. Tri-Blazer initiative,
03:21is an initiative introduced by Google
03:24as a joint project that has been carried out with the Singapore government
03:28to promote AI-generative innovation
03:31in the business and public sector in the country.
03:35The test program was carried out in cooperation
03:38between the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Singapore Digital Industry
03:42and the Smart Nation Digital Government Office, SNDGO,
03:46with the objective of supporting their local organizations
03:50in developing practical AI solutions
03:52to deal with problems at the same time.
03:55In Selangor,
03:57this initiative involves access to Google Cloud AI facilities
04:01such as high-performance GPUs
04:04and the Vertex AI platform
04:06and the development of AI-based products
04:09is carried out through the concept of Innovation Sandbox Facilities.
04:13The Selangor government, with the cooperation that will be carried out with Google Cloud Malaysia,
04:18will expand the field of artificial intelligence applications
04:22through various government initiatives.
04:25The development of the Selangor AI Incubator Center.
04:28The Selangor AI Incubator Center is a facility that will be completed
04:32with the provision of equipment for the Selangor government
04:35to continue to develop AI technology.
04:38The facility in the first phase will be built with the concept
04:44of an AI technology training center
04:46that will be completed with ease for AI incubator programs
04:51as well as offering certain education and registration programs
04:56in artificial intelligence technology.
04:59The provision for the Selangor AI Incubator Center
05:02is placed under the SLICE,
05:04which is the Selangor International Innovation Center of Excellence
05:07under the management of the STDC.
05:10The total allocation for all these AI initiatives
05:14is a total of RM5 million
05:16and this reflects the commitment of the Selangor government
05:18to prepare Selangor to enter the AI gate in our country.
05:24The Selangor government is also ready to cooperate with other AI providers
05:28to expand the scope of AI in Selangor
05:31and take this initiative as a start,
05:34we step into the AI gate.
05:36Semiconductor.
05:38The semiconductor industry in Selangor is growing rapidly,
05:42especially in the sector of integrated circuits or IC design.
05:47The establishment of the Malaysia Semiconductor IC Design Part 1
05:50led by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Cooperation,
05:54SIDEC,
05:55is an important step.
05:57This part has attracted the participation of 7 local and international IC companies
06:02and also attracted the interest of 8 companies,
06:05including China, India, US,
