How likely is it that the Red Sox actually sign Soto? Curtis has a list! Greg thinks this offseason is different! Will the Sox spend?
Transcript
00:00We discussed the Juan Soto stuff yesterday.
00:02Yeah.
00:03I have five things more likely than Juan Soto signing with the Boston Red Sox this offseason.
00:10Number one, anybody goes to Greg Hill's apartment to watch the Super Bowl on that crappy-ass TV.
00:18Okay.
00:19Number two, Robert Kraft re-signs Antonio Brown.
00:23Wow.
00:24Number three, Donald Trump nominates Dr. Fauci as his Surgeon General.
00:31Number two, Mark James calls 30 Red Sox games this spring.
00:38And the number one most likely occurrence, far more likely than Juan Soto signing with the Boston
00:43Red Sox, our very own Jackson gets married by the end of the year.
00:47That's going to happen.
00:48I feel that one.
00:49All right.
00:50So you think it's unlikely.
00:51I just have a feeling that it's different this season.
00:54I'm with you on that one.
00:55Like you are?
00:56Yeah, I'm with you.
00:57I think they're going to make a big splash, big, big splash this offseason.
01:01Because if not, they're going to get, I mean, they've already getting dragged,
01:03but they're going to get dragged to hell.
01:05Curtis, when it comes to the reason that it doesn't happen, do you think it's because
01:09Juan Soto does not, he doesn't get the money that he wants from them?
01:13He wants to be a Yankee.
01:15He's not going to, or is it all on the Red Sox?
01:18This is, as we were saying yesterday, just smoke and mirrors, and they're not going to
01:22be anywhere near offering him what he ought to get.
01:26The latter.
