Red Sox cut ties with a few coaches. Could a former Red Sox fan favorite be reuniting with Sox? Thoughts?
Transcript
00:00Um, so they cut ties with a lot of, uh, with a lot of guys, um, a lot of coaches.
00:04And when you look at who they've cut ties with, it is a lot of the, uh, places in
00:09which we all complained about the Red Sox this past season.
00:12So they're trending in the right direction, but there are now reports
00:15out that there is a guy that they're interested in reuniting with
00:18to add to their coaching staff.
00:20And that's Mike Napoli, a guy who was a fan favorite here
00:25in Boston for quite some time.
00:28I know Curtis, I was thinking about watching him walk through the streets.
00:32Shirtless.
00:33Well, and I'm, people loved it.
00:35I'm on your team.
00:35I agree 100% in hand.
00:37I I'm, I'm, I'm agreeing with you about the crazy Daisy Buchanan's without
00:41his shirt and, uh, and the, and the cigarette in his mouth.
00:45Great.
00:46I love it.
00:46A Boston or a Red Sox original.
00:48I love Mike.
00:49I just think that whether it's Craig Breslow, whether it's Alex Cora giving
00:54his, uh, feedback for this past couple of seasons, or if it's John Henry, Sam
01:00Kennedy, um, these guys understand that they're losing the, the hope, the
01:06faith of the Red Sox fan, and they are looking to add pieces that will add
01:11some type of nostalgia that will bring the fans back to a place in which they
01:16really loved this, this franchise.
01:19And I I'm here for it.
01:20If you're willing to cut ties with guys on your coaching staff and bring in
01:24people that have been beloved here, then you are trending in the right direction.
