00:03The super typhoon Ophel has maintained its strength

00:07while it continues to threaten the Cagayan Valley region.

00:11According to the forecast, the center of the typhoon

00:14will pass through the coastal waters of Divilacan, Isabela

00:18or 135 kilometers to the north east of Etxague, Isabela

00:23and is moving at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour.

00:29The super typhoon Ophel has maintained its strength

00:33of 185 kilometers per hour and a speed of 230 kilometers per hour.

00:40The signal number 5 is high in the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan

00:45while signal number 4 in Babuyan Islands,

00:48northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan and northeastern portion of Isabela.

00:54Signal number 3 in Batanes,

00:57which is the southern part of Cagayan,

00:59northeastern and southeastern part of Isabela,

01:03northeastern part of Apayao and northeastern part of Ilocos Norte.

01:08Signal number 2 is also high in the southern part of Luzon

01:12and signal number 1 in 10 places in Luzon.

01:16In anticipation, the typhoon Ophel will move to the northeastern part of the Philippine Sea

01:22before landfall in the northeastern part of Cagayan this afternoon.

01:27After this, it will move towards Babuyan Channel later tonight

01:31before landfall again or approaching Babuyan Islands.

01:35The typhoon Ophel will pass through the northeastern part of Cagayan

01:39towards the northeastern part of Batanes tomorrow

01:42before landfall in the northeastern part of Batanes on Saturday.

01:46The storm surge warning for coastal areas in the northeastern part of Luzon

01:53was the first to be issued as an effect of the super typhoon Ophel.

01:57Meanwhile, the tropical manye continues to grow strong

02:01as it moves towards the northeastern part of Luzon,
