00:00It's been a year following our concert, Davindong.
00:08This time, it's our second solo concert that was a success from the day itself.
00:16It's a rush to move forward. At this point of our careers, we've been through a lot.
00:23So this time, I want to show you how we move forward.
00:28What we can offer this time, our growth as a band.
00:33Aside from what Jow said, they can see our growth.
00:39There are a lot of changes. New songs, definitely.
00:43New remixes of the songs.
00:47Definitely new spices to some performances.
00:52And maybe, don't expect the same effort to us last year.
00:57Definitely something new.
01:00Maybe, that's our excuse since we had a concert before.
01:04So, we're not going to show everything.
01:06We don't know, right? The rappers will be singers.
01:09The singers will be the rappers.
01:11You know what I mean?
01:12You dance.
01:13Right?
01:15You dance.
01:16Yes.
01:17We're different from other bands in the Philippines.
01:20Right?
01:21We want to raise the flag of our hometowns.
01:25We want to make our countrymen proud.
01:29We also want to convey that if you want something,
01:33no matter where you come from, you can achieve it as long as you move forward.
01:36The Ilocano, right?
01:38Yes.
01:39That's the point.
01:41We're from Davao.
01:44So, no matter where you come from, we'll see you in our dreams.
01:51The Ilocano.
01:52Yes.
01:53I'm just like them.
01:54We also have dreams.
01:56I hope we can inspire them.
01:58After the concert, they can make their dreams come true.
02:02The Ilocano.
02:04Yes, of course.
02:06To the people, to all the Ilocanos out there,
02:10I'm from a small city in Caliga.
02:14If someone like me can do it,
02:17I want them to see that they can do it too.
02:22The Ilocano.
02:23Of course, we're representing worldwide.
02:29Like I said, I want to show them how we can make our dreams come true
02:36to the max level.
02:39Individually, since we came from different parts of the country,
02:44and not just that,
02:46we have our own strong individual personalities.
02:49We each bring something to the table.
02:52And it's not a bad thing for us.
02:55People may think that we clash,
02:58but it's actually the opposite.
03:00We learn so much from each other.
03:02And to overcome so much challenges,
03:05we are here for each other.
03:09When it comes to experience,
03:11personally, my experience was...
03:14I thought that I would give my all.
03:18And aside from that,
03:20we learn a lot from each other, actually.
03:23With the help of Alamant,
03:25I was able to show my full potential as an artist.
03:31Everything is a lesson.
03:33I'm always learning from that lesson
03:36so that I can be happy every day.
03:38Maybe it's a lesson that we've learned since before.
03:41How we work as a group.
03:43Like what Joshua said,
03:45we're used to being alone.
03:47That was a challenge for us before.
03:50How do we work as a group?
03:52Because that's our personality.
03:54So, I think,
03:56it improved over the last few years.
04:00We've been through a lot.
04:02We're almost four years old.
04:05So, we think...
04:07We live in the same house.
04:09So, we know each other's house.
04:13Not only in our artistry,
04:15but also in our personal life.
04:17We've learned a lot from each other.
04:19Growth and understanding.
04:23There are a lot of things to learn.
04:25You learn a lot when you let yourself
04:29go down,
04:31learn from the people around you,
04:34in life, at home, and so on.
04:39We offer different perspectives
04:41on a lot of things.
04:43Like artistry,
04:45solving problems.
04:47It's really a fun thing to be
04:50in an ecosystem
04:53where you're learning what you don't know.
04:58Because they have a different perspective on things.
05:02For us, it's just keeping an open mind
05:05and just humbling ourselves
05:07and learning from each other.
05:10My second question is,
05:12how do you get along with each other?
05:15Of course, you have a different artist.
05:17How do you find collaboration with the sponsor?
05:21Do you have an important role in the orchestra?
05:25Do you have a rational handle?
05:29Actually, in this concert,
05:31we really appreciate our management.
05:34We always ask Ms. L, our handler,
05:37what do you want to happen?
05:40So, we really listen to what they want to happen.
05:44And each of us,
05:46for sure, our solo parts won't be missing.
05:51Each of us,
05:53we give each other spices.
05:56Thank you, Viva!
06:00We improve because
06:02we've been together for a long time.
06:05Since we've been in this industry for a long time,
06:09we've been able to work with producers,
06:12musicians, composers, writers, etc.
06:15So, we give each other lessons
06:17on how to do this and that
06:19since they're the ones we work with
06:21in the mainstream of music.
06:23So, we improve.
06:25Because we've been together for a long time,
06:28we know more about the flavor we want in music.
06:31Because we have different tastes in music.
06:34And now, we know a lot of people,
06:37also artists.
06:39So, it's like,
06:41ah, I like this.
06:43Now, we know more about what we want in music.
06:48And also, how we improve in our music.
06:53Maybe, it's the way we take constructive criticism
06:57from people.
06:59And we take it as motivation
07:03so that we can listen to it more
07:06and everyone will like it.
07:09Sorry, guys.
07:10But let's leave it for now.
07:12So, you mentioned that
07:14you're going to have a concert here.
07:17Now, I want to ask you,
07:19are you ready for our concert?
07:22What?
07:23Wow!
07:24How?
07:25How excited are you?
07:27That's the most exciting part.
07:29But, um,
07:31we want to work harder.
07:34Because, of course,
07:36before our next concert,
07:38we want our next concert to be big.
07:41So, I think,
07:43we're going to push ourselves to be bigger.
07:47Not just here in the industry,
07:51but as people then, as persons.
07:57Maybe, we're ready.
07:59Because, since we've been through our first concert,
08:03we already know how tired we are.
08:06So, in our second concert,
08:08our upcoming concert,
08:10maybe, we won't think too much
08:12about the pressure and tiredness
08:14because we've been through our first concert.
08:16So, we're all happy and excited.
08:19And we're enjoying it.
08:21And the journey,
08:23the process,
08:24that's what we really enjoy.
08:27Because, of course,
08:28we had a concert last year.
08:32So, we've been through it.
08:35We've been through the tiredness,
08:37the sweat and the sweat.
08:41But, I think,
08:43we're ready.
08:45We can do it.
08:46So, there's pressure,
08:47but it's a good pressure.
08:48So, we can push ourselves to the top.
08:52We have a question here.
08:54So,
08:55have you ever felt like,
08:57we've been through a trauma?
08:59Like, it's not our job.
09:02For me,
09:04because we've never performed in Sambalis.
09:07But, I hope we can perform in Sambalis.
09:09But, when I go home,
09:11there are some...
09:17I can't say that
09:19I'm 100% strong.
09:23But, we're still in the process.
09:27Of course,
09:28I feel like we still need to be introduced
09:31by our grandmothers.
09:33No, I mean,
09:35when I listen to our songs,
09:37it's like it's for everyone.
09:39It can be listened to by anyone.
09:42And, yeah.
09:43But, we're proud to represent a place
09:49where we came from.
09:51And, that's where we were born.
09:55For me,
09:56it's safe to do it.
09:58But, it's a different story.
10:00When I go home,
10:01because I never know
10:03next summer or later.
10:05Anyways,
10:07when I see them,
10:09it's like,
10:10hey, that's Alamat.
10:11Alamat became our name.
10:13It's just funny
10:15because they know our song.
10:18They know our song.
10:21They're singing it.
10:23They're doing it.
10:25They know.
10:26It's like,
10:28slowly,
10:29slowly,
10:30people want us
10:32to reach them.
10:36The point is,
10:38they're proud.
10:41We're proud that they're proud of us.
10:44It's a change of energy.
10:46There's no destination yet.
10:48Yes.
10:50Do you have a message for your fellow Filipinos
10:54that you want to say to them?
10:58Actually,
11:00when I'm away,
11:02actually,
11:03there's a saying,
11:04good night.
11:05Good night.
11:06It means,
11:07good night.
11:08It's good.
11:09It's good.
11:10It's like,
11:11you can't forget where you are.
11:13It's funny.
11:14It's funny.
11:16Right.
11:17I know that aside from your music,
11:20you're bringing your culture to your costume style
11:24because you're on stage.
11:26So, for this concert,
11:28what can we expect?
11:30Who are you working with?
11:33We can't forget to incorporate
11:36Filipino elements in our costumes.
11:39And,
11:40of course,
11:41Team PD Styles for that.
11:44Sinispea, our stylist.
11:47And, of course,
11:48we are always working with Filipino designers out there.
11:52So, how do you feel when you're on stage
11:54wearing Filipino,
11:57indigenous-inspired clothing?
12:02I'm proud.
12:03Super.
12:04It's like,
12:05it's not really done in these modern times
12:09because we are more likely to consume foreign media.
12:16But, right now,
12:18in Alamat,
12:20we really want to incorporate
12:22the modern elements and traditional elements.
12:25So, yeah.
12:26I'm proud that we get to represent
12:28what Filipinos have to offer in terms of fashion.
12:33I thought you wanted to say something.
12:35I'm really proud to perform on stage.
12:38Wearing Filipino-made clothing.
12:41And,
12:42everything was achieved.
12:44So,
12:45I think it's just one goal
12:47that we all strive for.
12:50Filipino designers,
12:52performers,
12:53all of us.
12:55It's like,
12:56when we perform,
12:57we have boots.
12:59If your game is here,
13:01you can wear it.
13:05As performers,
13:06of course,
13:07we're honored to wear something
13:10that a designer designed for us.
13:14And,
13:15that fits well with our branding.
13:17So,
13:18thankfully,
13:19it comes from one of the designers that we work with.
