00:00It started about two years ago. I've always been a very keen gardener and had a beautiful garden full of flowers and
00:06just happened to have a lot of daily tubers I didn't have room for.
00:10So I said to Sarah, because Sarah runs the vineyard here full-time,
00:14can we plant some tubers out in the vine somewhere out at the end of a row?
00:18And she was like, sure. This paddock right here was empty.
00:22How big is the paddock and now what do you have in it? It's about an acre.
00:25Yeah, about an acre. It started with the daily tubers and some sunflowers
00:31and a few zinnias.
00:33And now we're in spring, so we've got
00:36foxgloves, delphiniums,
00:39different types of laces. And our zinnias this year are just about to start blooming,
00:43which is very exciting because they're everybody's favorite. We now have 25? Yeah, five blocks of 25.
00:51And then we've also got a native area over behind the trees that way. That's part of the eco vineyard.
00:57So that's connected to the vine. Probably about five or six hundred native plants over there
01:02as well, which we don't use for anything at the moment.
01:04They need to grow. They've only been planted for about three or four months. We sell our flowers to
01:09East End Flower Market. They're probably our biggest florist that we sell to. We've got quite a range over
01:13South Coast that we sell to, but we also do
01:16bunches of flowers that we just make ourselves. We've got a stall in the town,
01:20Coogie's in Green with a friend of ours. She has a beautiful little stall.
01:24And we also sell strath. Yeah, so we take our bunches there.
01:31That's a great way to use the stuff that we are using with the florist because
01:35I think our main aim has always been to sell to florists. But there's always going to be a few
01:41flowers left over. And yeah, it's a great little way to connect with the community.
