00:00Let's start with a couple of bilos and we'll end with a couple of sill highs, man.
00:06Who do you like, sir, first from the bilo?
00:09Well, dude, I mean, let's go Tyrone Tracy, look, the Giants and Panthers, a poor, I mean,
00:15look, we're sending the NFL product to Europe, right?
00:19We're sending it out there to United Kingdom, we're sending it out there to Germany.
00:24I mean, do we really have to make them suffer through this game today?
00:27This is the Giants and the Panthers, is this the best we could do?
00:32Come on.
00:33But Tyrone Tracy, at least, I think is in a good spot here.
00:37The Carolina Panthers are terrible.
00:38You've also got the bye coming up.
00:39So this is why he's an interesting bye, because he's not going to be available next week.
00:44And I think if you're looking towards the stretch run here, when it comes back from
00:47the bye against Tampa, a Dallas team that is beside itself right now, the New Orleans
00:52Saints, and then in the playoffs, tough first matchup against Baltimore, but then Atlanta
00:56and Indy in the next two.
00:57So Tyrone Tracy, I think is the better running back in this backfield.
01:02We've said that before.
01:03And I do think as the season goes on here, you're going to see more of an evaluation
01:06period on him, which means him getting to work a little bit more to see, okay, what
01:10are we moving forward with next year?
01:11What are those pieces?
01:12So Tracy right now, if you get him this morning before that game, you don't have a lot of
01:16time left, but that will be an interesting trade target.
01:19But I think even next week when he's on that bye, trying to acquire him for this stretch
01:23run to the playoffs, at least again, tough matchup in that first week, but the rest of
01:27them pretty good outside of that one against Baltimore.
01:30I think Tracy's an asset that you're going to want to have.
01:32And I think that going forward, he is the guy that's going to work a little bit more.
01:36He's coming off a game against Washington, 16 carries for 66 yards.
01:41But the game before that against Pittsburgh, a very tough run defense, 20 carries for 145
01:46and a touchdown is a tremendous game by him.
01:49And he's had a couple of those splash games.
01:50You go back to that game against Seattle, 18 for 129.
01:53So Tyrone Tracy is a guy that can have some of these big blow up games and perform much
01:57better than your prototypical RB2.
02:01In fact, this week he is ranked as RB14 overall.
02:05And I think somewhere between that 14, 18 range is where he's going to hover the rest
02:09of season.
02:09So he's a really good value if you can pick him up in a deal going forward.
02:13All right.
02:14I like it.
02:14You know, Joe, oftentimes on this show, we'll hear a name bandied about in the first four
02:19weeks or so.
02:20Something will happen, an injury, something you won't hear that name again till right
02:23around week 10.
02:25Ladd-McConkie is that name, is now finally the time.
02:30I think so.
02:32And Ladd-McConkie was a player that God knows I talked about a ton this offseason, right?
02:36All the draft prep.
02:37I thought this would be a player that'd be really useful, right?
02:40As it stands right now, this was a guy being drafted as a wide receiver four, sometimes
02:45even a five in some other shallow leagues.
02:48Right now he has 52 targets, 35 receptions, 440 yards and four touchdowns.
02:52That's good enough for the eight games that he's played to be wide receiver 22 on the
02:58season so far.
02:59So you've gotten more than you wanted or could have anticipated already out of him.
03:04But I think going forward, again, you see on his schedule, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Atlanta,
03:10right?
03:11Just coming up here after this week.
03:12So you've got a lot of good matchups here coming up.
03:15Those teams give up a ton of receiving yards.
03:18So why not try to acquire Ladd-McConkie now?
03:22People might say, oh, he's only got four touchdowns or oh, Quentin Johnson had the big splash
03:26game.
03:27It's the consistency of McConkie and the PPR that you're looking for.
03:30A guy that's going to catch five, six balls every single week.
03:33A guy that's going to go double digits every week.
03:35And if he gets you a touchdown, well, it's going to go even better.
03:37But I think now that you've seen Justin Herbert look better than he has in the month of September,
03:43at least for sure, when he was coming off that foot injury, everything seems to be settling
03:47in a little bit better, I think, for the chargers.
03:49And I keep coming back to it again.
03:51Cincinnati, Baltimore, Atlanta, that stretch run, followed by Kansas City.
03:55OK, that's a tough one.
03:56But how about then Tampa after that, the first week of the playoffs?
03:59You want to get all those chargers you possibly can for that first week of the playoffs against
04:04that Tampa secondary.
04:05So a great situation, a great time to buy low on Ladd-McConkie, who already has outperformed
04:09our expectations.
04:10But I think some people, because they drafted him later in drafts, really don't appreciate
04:16how good he's been because they haven't played him as much.
04:18Now's an opportunity if you need wide receiver to go out and acquire somebody like Ladd-McConkie.
