00:06to share the aid where 5,000 fishermen and their families can receive financial assistance and services.

00:20Yes, Princess, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. once again provided assistance to the thousands of victims of Hurricane Christina

00:28here in the Bicol Region to recover quickly from Hurricane Christina.

00:375,000 fishermen and their families received P30,000 in assistance.

00:43TESDA also contributed P80 million in scholarship grant and training support fund for the victims of the disaster.

00:54Albay Acting Governor Glenda Ongbongao was pleased with President R. Marcos' visit.

01:00He has only been a governor for two weeks, but he met the President twice and provided assistance to the victims of the disaster.

01:09President R. Marcos often visits evacuation centers in Bulat and Legazpi,

01:14where he aims to quickly distribute relief goods and rescue operations

01:19so that our countrymen can be saved from floods and landslides.

01:24He also distributed P130 million in various aid to Albay, Camarinesur and Naga.

01:30This time, the President was focused on helping the fishermen and their families recover.

01:37The President knows how hard it is for our fishermen and their families.

01:42Their livelihoods were destroyed because of the calamity.

01:45Therefore, President Marcos is focusing on solving the problems that may arise due to climate change.

01:51The DPWH is hoping to create quality, safe and durable infrastructure.

01:58Next year, the detailed engineering design of the Bicol River Basin Development Program

02:04that is expected to be connected to rainwater will be completed and will help to avoid floods in the Bicol region.

02:11The MDRRMC will also provide access to the fund to use during emergencies.

02:16The fund will also be used for quick response so that there will be no shortage of aid to the victims of the disaster.
