00:00Overall we're very pleased with how the state went. Yarded approximately five and a half thousand ewes and weathers, anything from weather lambs, new lambs to breeding ewes and a good offering of first cross new hoggets and new lambs too.
00:12The competition was really good on those good young breeding ewes. Overall I thought the sale sold really well given the current conditions of the state.
00:21Really well supported by a lot of local breeders as well. Breeders from Fleurieu out of Mallee Way as well, quite far and wide.
00:29Overall quality was really quite good on the top end and ewes presented very well which is absolute credit to the vendors given a tough season.
00:37So all credit to them and I think the prices really reflected the high quality ewes that we saw here today.
00:45Lighter ewes and that was still making good money with good competition from both breeders and the trade which was good.
00:50And weather lambs sold to a good competition overall.
00:53Normal ewes in terms of yarding probably down slightly in numbers.
00:56Obviously just due to the fact that people weren't able to carry the numbers through and just prioritise feed.
01:01Just as well as a lot of people sort of offloading a few numbers early off as breeders obviously when there was a little bit more feed around.
01:10But yeah I think the numbers we had were still very pleased with and still drew a very good crowd.
01:14But yeah probably down slightly on what we had previous years just given current conditions.
