00:00Polk and Baker, you know, it's always one of those fine lines
00:03Like how early is too early to call a guy a bust versus just being right and sort of seeing it early on
00:09I just I've been so frustrated with Jalen Polk because it was a second round wide receiver
00:14very productive guy in college thought he'd be a good fit and
00:19It's just been a variety stuff. He says then it's drops and then it's penalties
00:23It's like he can't get out of his own way
00:26But that is still a guy that in the final eight games of the season, I want to see out there
00:31I want to I want to know going into next season just how much or how little I can count on him
00:35Yeah, same thing with Jay Vaughn Baker
00:37I mean, he should be kind of in a tryout situation now, and I hope that this personnel department will have
00:43the
00:45same
00:46Hang and judge mentality that Bill Belichick sometimes would okay. It's not working out
00:50I don't care that took two thoughts in the second round. See you you're done. Bye
00:55It's not working here and if you have to do that with some players do that don't protect your draft picks and say well
01:00He just didn't have enough time. I would also say
01:03relative to Polk
01:05Thornton
01:07Baker
01:09KJ Osborne anybody we need to start looking up
01:13Who's the who's the wide receivers coach names Tyler Hughes?
01:16Taekwon under woods there as well
01:19Tyler Hughes was an assistant in Washington for a year. He was a Patriots offensive assistant for a few years
01:26He has not really had what you would call a decorated career developing wideouts
01:31so if he doesn't develop in this year this changes the conversation because this notion of everybody's going to grow together and
01:38In a couple years, it'll be good. You might have to throw that to the wind because sorry Drake Mays ready already
01:44Yeah, so if you have to say
01:48Everything gets upgraded now. We're not having this kumbaya where everybody moves together
01:52urgency has to enter the equation if you have to say goodbye to coaches who didn't
01:57Sparkle in their first year and replace them with experienced ones
02:01And I'm not trying to fire Tyler Hughes here, but your expectations for all of the coaching staff
02:07Has to be higher because your window is officially open and I believe that to be the case as of Sunday
02:14He's ready. He's good. He's really good
02:17So let's get after it
