00:00The relief and rehabilitation efforts of BATANES are in full swing in the wake of the next typhoon in the province.
00:07This is Oliver Bacay of PIA in Balitang Pambansa.
00:13After the next typhoon Hulyan and Leon,
00:15the relief and rehabilitation efforts of various government agencies in the province of BATANES are in full swing
00:22in order to help revive the affected areas.
00:26The DSWD and RDRRMC immediately sent additional relief goods to the province of BATANES
00:32through the C295 and Blackhawk Air Assets of the Philippine Air Force
00:37and the BRP Gabriela Silang of the Philippine Coast Guard.
00:41The clearing operations of various government agencies in the affected areas of Baguio and Leon are also in full swing,
00:48especially in the roads that were blocked by fallen trees and landslides.
00:54As of now, more than Php 47 million worth of aid has been distributed to those affected by the typhoon in BATANES.
01:03According to the initial report of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development,
01:07there are two totally damaged houses in BATANES and 559 partially damaged houses.
01:13According to Director Grace Devera,
01:15the totally damaged houses will receive Php 30,000 and Php 10,000 for the partially damaged houses.
01:22We need to validate the listing given by the LGUs.
01:27So we have a team that will be sent to BATANES.
01:32As of now, the residents of BATANES have not yet recovered from the effects of the next typhoon.
01:38The residents are preparing for the possible next typhoon that will hit their area.
