00:00Not only did the Philippine Area of Responsibility enter the country quickly,

00:04but the 13th typhoon of the country, the Marseille typhoon, also entered the country quickly.

00:11And what is being closely monitored here is where it will landfall,

00:16especially after the typhoon Leon hit.

00:20We will know the update there from weather specialist, Neil Miranda.

00:26This is the latest update on the typhoon Marseille.

00:30The typhoon Marseille was strong as it moved in the west-northwest direction over the Philippine Sea.

00:37As of 10 a.m., the center of the typhoon, 775 km east of Porongan City-Eastern Samar,

00:44which has a strength of 75 km per hour near the middle,

00:48and a gust of wind of 90 km per hour.

00:51At present, it is moving in the west-northwestward direction at a speed of 35 km per hour.

00:58At present, there is no tropical cyclone wind signal in any part of our country,

01:03but tomorrow, a wind signal may rise in some parts of the Northern Luzon.

01:07Here in Metro Manila, it is expected to experience a cloudy part

01:11up to a cloudy sky with drizzling rain, thunder and lightning,

01:15as well as localized thunderstorms, especially in the afternoons and evenings.

01:21This is the latest update on the typhoon Marseille.

01:25It was strong as it moved in the west-northwest direction over the Philippine Sea.

01:30As of 10 a.m., the center of the typhoon, 775 km east of Porongan City-Eastern Samar,

01:35which has a strength of 75 km per hour near the middle,

01:39and a gust of wind of 90 km per hour near the middle,

01:44The westward shift, likely within the next 24 hours,

01:48is due to the high-pressure area submerged by Marseille.

01:51The landfall scenario may change here in Babuyan Island

01:57to the Isabela area.

02:00Based on the latest data,

02:04we expect Marseille to be in the tropical or typhoon category.

02:13Currently, the northeasterly wind flow will bring strong to gale-force gusts

02:19here in Northern Luzon.

02:22And then, if ever this continues or intensifies,

02:29maybe by this week or next week,

02:34it will be possible for us to have a northeastern June.
