00:00It's a school like almost a thousand others in Lebanon.
00:03Naromen is its headmistress.
00:06It opened its doors to house those who have been forced onto the streets.
00:09In Lebanon, one in four people have fled their homes.
00:13This room used to be the staff room and as we have refugees in the other rooms, we're
00:17going to equip the whole room with tables and chairs so that our pupils can study.
00:22We've already put up the blackboard.
00:25Staff are doing what they can to save the school year.
00:28Here, around 60 nursery school children will be living with around 50 refugees.
00:33They'll be on separate floors.
00:36Not everyone may be lucky enough to get a teacher.
00:39We don't know what we're going to do for our children because their school is in their
00:43village.
00:44And my daughter is at university in the south.
00:47We can't seem to communicate with the people in charge.
00:59My grandfather was at home and they fired a missile into our village.
01:08Tomorrow we'll go home.
01:11They come from areas in southern Lebanon.
01:16I'd like to go home, play with my friends and see each other again.
01:23And for us to give each other hugs too.
01:28And we'll tell them that we've missed them.
01:30We love each other very much.
01:34We have a lot of fun together.
01:39But the prospect of returning to how life was before seems like a distant reality, as
01:44the IDF presses ahead with its offensive and the death toll from Israeli strikes on Lebanon
01:49continues to mount.
