00:21Following the typhoon León and Cristina in some parts of the country,

00:25President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also promised

00:28the government's continued assistance to those affected by the typhoon León and Cristina.

00:33He also insisted that during this time,

00:35the color of politics should not be dim,

00:38instead, the assistance should be strong.

00:41Fellow countrymen, we will not stop until all have woken up.

00:46Our agencies are not tired.

00:48We hear your cries and we are doing everything

00:52to put you in a better position.

00:55On the last date of NDRRMC,

00:57the assistance to those affected by the typhoon León and Cristina reached Php 713.1 million.

01:05All power generation plants and all transmission lines and facilities of the NGCP are now back in operation.

01:12The 13 electric cooperatives in Bicol Region remain in partial power interruption status,

01:17while 67% of those in those places were able to return the supply of electricity.

01:22There is no longer a noticeable shortage of fuel supply in Bicol Region

01:26after replenishing the retail gasoline stations.

01:30It is estimated to reach 1,894 liters of diesel and gasoline

01:34while 20,011 kg LPG cylinders were sent to Bicol from Oct. 29 to Oct. 31.

01:42Although the assistance is continuous,

01:43President Marcos Jr. insisted that there should be no compromise

01:47and that disaster risk reduction and response should be prioritized,

01:52whether by the local government or the national government.

01:54According to the Executive,

01:56it should be strengthened, especially with the impact of climate change,

02:01because it needs to develop flood control systems

02:05after being overwhelmed by the recent typhoons.

02:08That is why there are many changes in the planning of the infrastructure

02:16You can expect that our national and local disaster risk reduction and response will be strengthened.
